The media could not be loaded. My husband got me this for Christmas last year and it took me a while to get to it, and I’m so upset with myself for waiting so long because I had SO MUCH FUN!!! I obsessed over this from the moment I started until it was done! I finished it in a total of about 5 days but I used pretty much every spare second I had working on it 😂 It was so therapeutic to snap all the little pieces together! You make all the small pieces bit by bit before putting it all together and each piece felt like an accomplishment! I showed my husband every little part and said “Look! I made this! It’s so realistic!!! 😃” 😂 I felt my stress levels lower so drastically as soon as I started this project! ❤️ I LOVE the finished look too! It is so magical! I actually have it sitting on my bookshelf in my library right next to my tarot card collection and it is like a little portal to another world! It added so much life to that shelf! It’s the perfect addition to any library and the PERFECT HOBBY for anyone that likes to get crafty! I loved it so much I asked him for more this Christmas 😂 My ONLY problem was the cauldron! Almost every single one of the pieces broke, and there were no extras (which was surprising considering all the little pieces that had extras included that didn’t break lol). I almost gave up and bought a miniature plastic cauldron instead, but I’m really glad I decided to get creative with what I had instead because it looks so good in the finished piece! I obviously managed it after much trial and error in the final products as it’s clearly in the video, but I had to use hair clips like wood clamps to glue a lot of the pieces back together (so if you come across this problem, that solution works GREAT! Lots of glue and a whole day to dry and the pieces are SOLID! lol) 😂 That was the only frustrating part but in the end it felt like a creative accomplishment lol 🥰 The light system is also really cute and easy to set up! I was intimidated by that but the instructions are really clear and simple, and I loved how the different wood pieces clipped around it to hold it in place or disguised it to blend in! These are perfect gifts! The price is so affordable for how much enjoyment I got out of this! Highly recommend!!! ... show more

(Rating the magic pharmacist nook) This is a quality kit, with very well cut out wood pieces, and clear instructions. The attention to detail is great, which is reflected in the end result which looks amazing. Definitely though NOT something to let kids assemble by themselves, there are some tight fits and some fragile pieces which require some finessing. Also, a LOT of supergluing is involved, and they DO NOT include it in the box. Other small issues I had: - The perfume bottles with the beads were hard to glue, and I'm glad I had a 3rd arm and magnifying lens to help me - The final battery cover latch really does not work, and I had to improvise another latch using bits and pieces leftover from the kit Overall, it took my daughter (15yo) and I (adult) a total of around 6h to finish to this. It was quite fun, and everybody was impressed with the end result. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This was my first ever book nook project and I can't wait to do more! The quality of the materials used in this, the simplicity in the instructions and tasks, and the attention to detail all blew me away. I was impressed with this kit from start to finish and am beaming at the results! The lighting is perfect and adds a high-quality touch to the set. The stickers are detailed and make the books super easy to put together. It took me just a few hours to put it all together and in it's spot (with breaks between to let my glue dry). And you can seal it all off at the end so the wires are kept safe and dust doesn't get inside! A few things to note: It does not come with glue or batteries so you need to get those. For this price range (about $40), I didn't mind to get my own. It wasn't missing any pieces (actually had a lot of back up pieces) but one piece did break for me - one of the bending sides of the cauldron. It wasn't a problem because I can't see that side after everything is set up. Just be careful with those. Lastly, I ended up drilling a hole in the bottom-most piece that covers the wires at the bottom. Putting it on blocked the touch pad for the light. Maybe I did something wrong there so read the directions carefully but I simply cut a whole where I could still get to the switch. I hope you enjoy this set as much as I did!!
