Used these letters for a Giving Wall at church. The expanse to be covered was16 feet long, so I adapted from the string and needle provided. The individual banners are sturdy enough and the letters/numbers do standout on the burlap; however, the wall used was similar in color. Also, in that expanse, they looked so small--so I backed them with solid cardstock, similar to the interior colors used by my church. The effect is much better and I found it easier to hang from the burlap string by using tiny snap clothespins, rather than run the string through the small header pocket. Not displeased with the product--just took a longer time to assemble. Will definitely use for other similar projects in the future. ... show more

Purchased for a banner for our one year old grandson's birthday celebration. I was hoping it wasn't flimsy...It's not! I was able to glue an animal (fox) that I had made out of felt and the burlap held up well. The only drawback with this purchase was the way they package it. Given some of the reviews of this custom garland kit, I was a little nervous about the quality. But it’s better than expected. Great quality. I got all the letters. And they all arrived in pristine condition. No ironing of the letters required. I’m really happy with this purchase.
