I had ugly vertical blinds in my apartment, and these are perfect so far for what I need! I bought a pretty heavy large blackout curtain for the sliding glass door, poked these hooks through the fabric and clipped them in place of my sliding vertical blind clips and they work great! Hold a lot of weight, are sharp but not too sharp, I even painted the front of them with black nail polish so you can barely see them against the curtain! Perfect for what I needed.

This is the third time I have ordered this brand of drapery hook because they have a nice weight to them, don’t bend with even a heavy drapery panel and they are sharp enough to go through the ribboning in the header without ripping fabric. They are a fairly bright gold color which may or may not matter depending on how you plan to use them. The hooks do not show on my ivory linen curtains when used with drapery rings. I can insert them so that the color is not noticeable. I will absolutely order them again if I change out my curtains but here’s hoping that will be awhile.

this was the easiest, cheapest way to convert slat blinds into a nice curtain! we have a sliding door and there were plenty left over after hanging our panel up. they’re nice and sturdy and since you can’t see the hooks, i didn’t find the silver color a bad buy.
