I used to wear a small but decided to get a medium after I read the size chart. I am somewhere in between the two sizes. The top fits perfect. The bottom is high waisted which is what I wanted. It is a little big but nothing I can't deal with. I know the small would have been to tight on me. I can deal with the little bit of excess fabic which is not noticable or make a small overlap on my tummy and you won't notice it is a tiny bit big. Note: I bought two versions of this swimsuit. One being brick red and the other being the green stripes. I typically HATE bikini shopping and bra shopping because I’m small chested. I’m a 32B. I bought XS for both swimsuits but was really worried the bottoms would not fit as I have wide hips and thick thighs. To my surprise, I really like (more like LOVE) this swimsuit! The cups don’t have any space for whoopsies and the bottoms don’t make it look like I have fat spilling over (I’m 5’6 and 125 lbs for crying out loud). Ordered this two piece for upcoming vacation. The bottom fits well, cut higher on the legs than some other suits but still like it. Love the high waist. Top is cute, straps are pretty thin and not much support. I am a C cup and this will be great for sitting on the beach, not sure it will hold up to swimming or paddle boarding. Style of this suit is great and it is very comfy. Good boob and butt coverage and the cut of the bottom is great if you have a mom bod, but don't want all the rushing around the middle. The brown color is absolutely beautiful! I love it!! I'm still up in the air about the brick red color. I always have trouble finding a two piece that fits well especially for the top since I’m a 38D. I went with the extra large and very happy with it. I’m 5’2” and 160 lbs. If your bust is any larger than mine I would size up. Bottom fits nicely since it goes over the hips.
