I have a pear shaped figure an am generally a size 12 in jeans and a Large in shorts/other bottoms. I almost always size up in bikini bottoms to avoid squeezing around my hips/love handles so I usually wear an XL bottom to give myself room, and I typically wear a medium or large in tops. I ordered this bikini in size XXL after receiving the tie dye one in an XL and the bottoms were so small I couldn’t wear them. The XXL in the mauve bikini fit perfectly for my desired fit - an XL probably would have fit and given a more cheeky fit to the bottoms but I prefer a looser/well fitted bottom over a tight fit. There is no squeeze on my hips and it looks very flattering, especially because it is a bit of a higher rise but not too high. I was surprised that the top fit, considering I’m a 36B and would never expect an XXL top to fit but as long as I adjust the straps to be tighter it fit great and was also really flattering. If the sizing was more accurate I would’ve given this 5 stars, but I’m super happy with the product itself. I haven’t worn it yet and it did have a weird smell out of the package (the tie dye one did as well - almost a chemically smell) so I will probably wash it first but I’m excited to wear this suit and feel confident and sexy in it! ... show more

    • Nearly perfect for 6 months pregnant, and for after I hope
I'm 5'7 and before pregnancy I was about 117 lbs. My bathing suits were usually size M. I've gained about 17 lbs now and the M in this one fits pretty good. It feels comfortable. The bottom is just right under my belly and not too cheeky in the back. The top holds my breast very good, doesn't cut in. The only thing is that it can be adjusted only with the straps going up and not around the back as well. If you need that adjustment as well, keep this in mind. It is not big perse around the back, but there is definitely no way to play around with it. Especially after it gets wet, it gets a bit more loose. I'm ok with it now as I have pregnancy enlarged breast, but I wonder if I'll like it afterwards. Before pregnancy I was 32 B in bras. ... show more
