The only reason it was a four was because the posts are very thin. The earrings arrive in an ok box with two plastic pouches. There are 2 rubber backs if you need them, but, the posts are thin and easily bend. Fortunately, the earrings are heavy enough that you don’t need the backs. And although they are gold coated, they did cause a small reaction behind my ears and s couple of bumps. This can be probably mitigated by putting a clear coat of nail polish on the ends of the posts. I do really like these! They’re big enough, but not super huge. They’re not very heavy, so no worries about earlobe damages. And they’re very shiny, so be prepared for many compliments everywhere you go.
