Very nice desk once it was finished. Honestly was not too easy to put together. It took a couple of hours. Directions could be made clearer. But it was doable. Very sturdy! I took a chance on this one, having no reviews and all, but it is genuinely a good buy. The desk is almost four feet long, so it has room for everything i need for school. I can have my laptop open, notebook open, my waterbottle, my planner, a stack of notebooks and other nicknacks and it still doesn't feel cramped. The drawers are fabric, which I didn't know when I bought it, but they are just as solid, only complaint would be that they aren't white. The drawers are really deeper, so they have lots of storage and the shelves on the bottom can easily hold a monitor. It took my boyfriend about 30ish minutes to build this so not too bad, but be warned, nothing in this is put together, including the drawers. Overall, good product for the price.

I recently purchased two new 28" monitors and realized that my existing desk was too small to accommodate them. This is where my search for a new desk began. After searching for the best affordable choice for several days, I came across this one. I read the reviews that stated some were missing a hole in one of the bars and hoped mine would come in with correctly cut pieces. The box came in one piece. But upon opening it up, I noticed that the pieces inside were not secured well and some bars ended up getting scratched in the process. Also, some pieces were missing letter stickers that identify which piece is what, but it wasn't too hard to figure it out. Although there was some random yellow and blue clip piece included in the box that definitely didn't belong. I looked at the instructions and started putting the desk together. Since I was doing it by myself I figured it would take me about an hour to put together. No, it took me almost 3 because the instructions were wrong from the very beginning. When I was almost done, I realized that my piece was also missing the hole others had to drill in themselves. Considering I don't have a drill and would actually have to ask someone to do it for me, I sat down and looked through everything again. Then suddenly I realized that the very first step included in the instruction was incorrect. See the photo, but it basically showed that one of the holes had to face the inside of the shelf, which is incorrect. This hole is for one of the back struts and needs to face out. If you look at another instruction photo with my notes, the instruction then showed the same piece with the strut hole on the outside. I was not happy but decided to disassemble and reassemble again correctly. Hence over two hours with this thing. I've assembled many things in my life, and this by far was the most annoying experience. Once I finished the desk looked nice. As I was putting it together I questioned my decision of getting it. It did not seem sturdy at all. I was wondering if I would trust it with a laptop, let alone two 28" monitors. But, once I finished putting it together, I was happy with it. This isn't a fancy super sturdy desk. As I type this, my monitors are shaking a bit. It's a 63" wide computer desk made out of good enough materials for $140.00. In my opinion, it's good enough, and for now, it works.

These desks are a real bargain and look great! We needed two desks at a reasonable price for our home office that would be stylish and long enough to hold multiple monitors. These desks accomplished all of the above! They are surprisingly well made! For those wondering YES YOU CAN SWITCH WHICH SIDE THE SHELVES ARE ON, THESE ARE REVERSIBLE SHELVES. We searched the reviews for confirmation of being able to switch the shelf orientation prior to purchasing and just took the gamble hoping we could so I wanted to be sure to clearly include this info for others. To my delight that was super easy to do. I first assembled one desk according to the directions exactly and then the next desk I simply flipped around the frame parts so the back of the desk with the holes corresponding to the placement of the back support bar would be against the wall and just assembled it in reverse mirror image from the first one. Not rocket science just takes attention to detail. The top of these desks are also really pretty. The wood part looks like real wood even fairly close up and the laminate is textured with a wood grain look. They aren't the least bit cheap looking and are gorgeous in our front room office that is seen by everyone entering our home so I'm really pleased they look so good. I plan to purchase some wicker baskets to hold office supplies on the shelves.

After years of working in the office, I am now permanently working from home. I bought this desk to get away from working at the dining room table. Shipping was quick. The components were well packed - no damage. All parts, to include hardware, were provided and labeled. Instructions were easy to read. I spent a little less than an hour putting the desk together, to include time spent moving the dog out of my way. I like the wire mesh shelf - perfect for my laptop. I wanted a deeper work surface but have adequate room for 2, 23-in monitors plus keyboard, and mouse. I still have room for a binder and files on my left and notebook, pencil holder, etc on my right. I could easily accommodate larger monitors. The desktop has a smooth laminate-feeling surface. I am about 5’5” and sit in an Aeron chair. The chair rolls up to the desk with no problem. I’ll probably buy another desk, smaller size, & butt it against this one to make an “L” shape so I can lay out design and construction drawings for review. Overall, I’m very happy with the desk.
