This is my first bagger. As long as you mow grass/leaves that are not wet and not at full speed, it works fantastic!! The time I lost dumping the bags were more than made up for by not needing re-mow areas to spread out grass clippings. The metal components are heavy duty and so is most of the plastic. I question how long the plastic bagger hood latches will last and I may have to make something better with a metal latch, but over all I give the quality of material and workmanship high marks. Reach around and feel the grass level in the bags and that will tell you when you need to dump. Easy. No, it doesn’t blow grass and leaves everywhere. No it doesn’t clog up; if you are NOT an idiot and only mow dry grass and leaves, you will be golden! I would buy this again in a heartbeat!! :) ... show more

    • Does the job - but the plastic parts are cheaply made, and don't work well.
A clear case of form over function. It does a good job of collecting grass, but is so cheaply made that I worry about how long it will last. The latches that secure the top barely work. Each side requires two hands to unlatch, and because of the force required I suspect they will fail sooner rather than later. The top is made of thin plastic, and flexes when it is opened. The bags are difficult to install and remove. The quick attach system is sturdy and works extremely well. Certainly not worth the very expensive price I paid for it. ... show more

The Cub Cadet Bag was not too bad to install, less than an hour. It works great and also picks up the grass nicely with no problems.

    • Definitely NOT worth the money
It is a pain to put together, a pain to put on and take off the mower, and doesnt work well. It sucks that its the only bagger option. It clogs up constantly, the bags fill up stupid fast. You spend more time getting on and off the mower than mowing. U have to drive as slow as possible with engine rpm at max and itll still clog up the chute if you have a small patch of grass thats longer than the rest, not to mention the extra gas it takes to run the mower like that. Id say just invest your money in a great leaf blower instead. ... show more
