This is a very nice costume jacket, and would work well as a Victorian, gothic or steampunk costume. It is a felt fabric so it came wrinkled. But then, I wouldn't even consider wearing it without taking it to the cleaners first! I keep seeing people with negative comments about the quality ofthese costume jackets. THEY ARE COSTUME JACKETS! They not Armani or Ralph Laurn and not meant to be worn daily! and they only cost $50! For the price, this is a top notch costume jacket, I just wish that they came in a Long size. I am 6'5" and 275 lbs. The 3x fit pretty good but just a little short in the sleeves. But I've had to deal with that for over 50 years. If you are needing a Halloween or stage play costume, I would recommend this jacket highly. Just be prepared to send it to be cleaned and pressed before you wear it.

Got a 3x, it fit a guy who wears a 2x T shirt. one of the buttons fell off out of the package, but that's an easy fix. seems well made for the almost $50 it's a bit pricey but definitely a fun piece. much higher quality than the most costumes you find in stores or online. More Cosplay quality. particularly small in the shoulders.

I bought this jacket to use as a Prince 80s costume. It fit OK, a bit tight in the chest, but my biggest problem was is itβs pretty bulky. It would get hot very quickly. I ended up returning it and finding another option that was a lighter weight material.

I had to return this item because it was too small. I thought the buttons were too lose and going to fall off after minimal wear. Other than that, the jacket is nice and would have been perfect for my Shakespeare performance if I could have gotten it one size bigger.

I pieced together a nice pirate outfit for Halloween and maybe pirate events. This coat went just fine with the ensemble of a frilly shirt, belt, frog, (basket claymore) sword, do-rag, awesome bell top boots, baggy black lounge pants, rings and a feathered cocked hat. (I had to make one because the hats for sale are too flimsy).
