This piece is gorgeous. There's lookalikes on west elm and allmodern! This was the cheapest one I found online. The reviews seemed mixed though. I wanted to take a chance on it since i'd been looking at this design for so long. Lo and behold it arrived damaged ): some shattered boards and warped edges. The problem with damaged furniture is it's the biggest hassle to return, especially if you just need like two pieces replaced.. seems super wasteful to have to toss a whole unit. The piece came with a packed of warranty information and a number to call (Crosley Furniture) for replacement parts. I called and was on hold for 30+ minutes before an automated voice said there was no one available to assist. I tried the manufacturer's other lines and the automated "customer service" number just sent me on a goose chase of "dial 1 for blahblah" and would never actually lead anywhere. Amazon told me they could get someone to come and just pickup everything as is, since we already began putting it together for a refund, but I dont want to resort to that just yet. I will update this review if Crosley ever gets back to us since something seems pretty sketchy. Really wanted this to work out for our home!!

VERY HEAVY. I'm not the daintiest person in the world, but I'm definitely slight compared to the box the package came in and live in a 2 floor walk up. Needed help to get it up to my door. The drawer is smaller than I realized. The ideal design would be to utilize it all the way through for letter size files, but I figured out how to fit everything in it. Just is unfortunate to have that wasted space. The drawer does stick a little... not quite as lined up as it should be, which I noticed throughout while putting this thing together. Some of the holes for the dowels & screws don't line up properly to the "matching" holes. But overall, seems like a solid piece of furniture. I love the look of it though. I wish it gave a little more bang for its buck, but I've seen the pricier version that does what I want and that is at least 2x more the cost. So, as long as this stays sturdy for a couple of years, it's fine for what I need now.

This bookshelf was delivered this afternoon and me and my husband just finished setting it up. I’ve bought this bookshelf before through another website and seller, so because I have prime membership I decided to get a third one on Amazon to make the office space more efficient and sturdy! I regret this purchase so much, the item is completely damaged as you can see from the photos and that’s just couple of images I’ve included but everything came with a scratch or damages and it was so hard to put together because of it as well. Not worth the money you’re spending

Large heavy pkg arrived seemingly intact. The manufacturing of large Crosly bookcase was terrible! At first glance all seemed well. But, 1 shelf piece had to be reconnected with Gorilla wood glue. One shelf had connection pieces put in wrong and had to very carefully turn around to fit properly. A few minor flaws also which no-one but I will ever see. Overall, a product that was assembled poorly in China or Vietnam. Not worth the price, but far to heavy to return once you've opened pkg and start assembly. Would hope in future Crosley inspects their products more thourghly and cease selling & sending out damaged goods.

Yes, just like everyone else, the drawer gave us issues but do not let that deter you from purchasing this piece of furniture. It is most definitely a west elm dupe minus the screws that people were not happy they show on the sides. I do not mind them. The furniture piece is SOLID and not cheap looking. My husband had it put together in about 30-40 minutes. I highly recommend this piece, the drawer was tricky and we have not had issues with it since assembling it. It slides in and out smoothly.

This came well packed with each wood part wrapped and protected. It was easy to assemble. We had some difficulty with the drawer's glide mechanism as it would not close all the way but after some time we got it working. It is beautiful and sturdy and is half the price of a similar item at a well-known modern furniture store.

I am very satisfied with this bookcase. The wood is good quality, the color is beautiful, it is sturdy yet light enough that I can move around, super easy to assemble, and the price is really a joke. As I bonus, I love the smell of the varnish it has on. I had purchased three other bookcases online at a higher price and they were just cheap MDF, all three returned right away. Not this one, it is just what I needed. I'll be looking to buy more products from this brand.

This is a great alternative to the West Elm version and practically identical. The color are a bit different but only noticeable if you place the two next to each other. We have the West Elm bedroom set and initially wanted to use this in the bedroom but worked better for us in the living room. Great piece!
