I never, ever thought I'd wear Crocs, but here I am. Our 1.5 year old daughter loves her Crocs, and we like how easy it is to get them on, how we don't have to fuss over socks, etc. They're great summer shoes for kids. After a while I started thinking about getting myself a pair just as yard work/grilling/fishing/etc. shoes for the same reason. Which is what they started as, but during one Home Depot trip I realized I never took them off and was wearing them out. Fair game, I guess I'm living the Croc life now. Regarding sizing, I saw some strange advice all over. And perhaps it's different between colors, so for clarity's sake I got the Khaki color. Anyway, I saw some people talking about sizing down, but I really don't think that's the right way to go. Crocs do feel loose on your feet, but just wear them around a bit and you'll realize that they're just fine and very secure. The bottom "floats" a little bit so you don't develop blisters, but the strap holds them to your feet pretty well. If this were a normal shoe, then I'd size down. But it's not, and it doesn't wear/stretch/weigh the same, so I recommend getting your true size. I'm a 12D, sometimes 11.5 or 12.5, and once in a blue moon a 13. Size 12 works fine for me here.

My husband wore crocs on our first date and I honestly almost ended it then, but I decided what the heck. Who cares what he wears on his feet?? Then he revealed that he usually wears his crocs with SOCKS. It’s freaking hideous and I have made fun of him for YEARS. But recently, I needed a pair of shoes to toss on to take the dog on quick walks or just run to the mailbox and he surprised me with a pair of these bad boys (in mint, my favorite color). I swore I wouldn’t wear them.. and yet, Here I am! Wearing them every stinkin day now!! These shoes are not stylish. They make your feet look like gigantic doll feet. But they are THE most comfortable and convenient shoes I’ve ever worn. They are easy to clean, breathable and great for days at the beach or river. If my husband sees this, I admit I was wrong. I still won’t say that out loud, but here ya go.

While these silver glitter crocs are cute they DO NOT hold up. I purchased these for my daughter a month ago. She’s only worn them a few times since she got them & already the glitter is flaking off in huge chunks. They already look terrible & for almost $50 you’d expect something to hold up for more than a few wears. Very disappointed.

I agree with other reviewers that croc has changed the fit of the shoe. I have worn crocs for years. I wear them with socks and without socks, depending on the weather. I get a new pair when I wear a hole in the ball of the foot area in the old pair. I wear them to take a walk every day (I hate tennis shoes). I got these and the weather was warm and I wore them without socks and the edge at the top of my arch rubbed a blister on both of my feet, because croc has made the whole shoe box smaller and lower in the arch area. That has NEVER happened before. The back strap is also shorter, which will push your foot further into the shoe. I don't use the strap, but it I checked it out after reading other people's reviews about it and it is definitely shorter than the strap on my old crocs. Boo hiss on croc for now cutting corners on a good product. Makes me wonder if the sole is going to wear out faster now too.... For fit, I wear a size 8 women's shoe and I always buy crocs in size= 7 mens/9 womens. I don't know if sizing up will help with issues of how they changed the fit or if it would just be a more clown like shoe flopping on the foot (you gotta admit, they feel great, but have a clown shoe quality about them). : )

Crocs are a wardrobe STAPLE. Let me explain myself: as a college student and athlete, I need a pair of shoes that I can wear EVERYWHERE. These are perfect for walking around the dorm, showering, walking to class, walking on docks during crew practice, and just being casual. They keep your feet surprisingly warm and are easy to wash off if they get dirty. They are also INDESTRUCTIBLE in the sense that you can do almost anything to them and they will not lose their shape. I would definitely recommend crocs to everyone, from the stay at home moms/dads that need “slip-on” shoes for a quick trip to the grocery store, to the student athlete rowers that want a shoe they can easily rinse a little mud off. (PLUS crocs has colors for EVERY personality)!

I got these because I wanted something that could get wet, without needing to dry forever like tennis shoes, for when I have to take the dogs for their morning walk, and still protect my toes and provide some arch support. I should never have bought them. First, if you have wide feet, just don't bother. I ordered the Men's 9, because I wear an 11 Wide in Women's shoes. HA! These were barely long enough and tighter than any other man's shoe I've ever tried on before. I wear men's tennis shoes because I have wide feet, but these shoes are very narrow for men's shoes. Second, your feet will sweat in these like crazy. If you thought your feet sweat in your workout shoes, just wait till you wear these for a few minutes in the heat. I have feet that sweat, not as bad as some people I know, but still, I like a shoe that breathes. Third, the little nubs that are supposed to keep your feet from slipping are very hard and unpleasant on the bottom of your feet and, even though this shoe runs small, your foot will slip around once it starts to sweat or gets wet. These are now shower shoes only, and that is a lot of money to spend on something you can only wear to take a shower.
