I had no idea you could stretch a shoe. I had foot surgery and need to wear toe alignment and toe spacers. I was tired of wearing the after surgery "boot" and needed to transition into a shoe. I ordered the Crocs thinking that they would be wide enough and they were not able to accommodate all the additional contraptions necessary for a full recovery. I read online that you can heat up the shoe and stretch it or shrink it. We tried it and it worked. I have never owned Crocs before and I get the infatuation. I was unable to balance really well and was afraid of slipping and falling in slippers. They are incredibly comfortable, lightweight, and the stretching made it possible to start walking without the boot. These were a gift for my friend, he loves them. Added some jibs for a personal touch and wears them daily. They are comfortable, easy to wear, crocs. They were sized true to size and the material was thick and goofy as expected of a croc.

I was looking to replace my old crocks that I had for about 10 years (left one in the picture). They are still fine and softer than the new ones, I just got tired of them and wanted to change. I wear them instead of slippes as they're provide cushion on my hardwood floors withouth making my feet sweat. The new ones aren't as narrow as my old ones, but better than others I have tried where I could put both feet unto one shoe. However, they're too short and not just by a little bit. You can see the difference (they're both size 8). With the strap, my toes are cramped against the shoe, and without it, my heel goes over the "lip."
