Though I just got them a week or so ago, it's easy to see that these are an upgrade in quality and durability (and price). Only time will really tell, but the upper material is thicker and the soles are rimmed with stiffer more durable edging - and still comfortable. My only complaint is that they've chaffed my feet during the break-in period. I hope and trust my feet and shoes adjust - else I'll get back on here and modify my review. First off, sizes: I wear an 11 1/2. With the classic crocs, I erred on the side of caution and got size 12. They’re a bit loose, just a bit too big. I got size 11 in the new crocs, and they fit perfect. The clog crocs are a thicker rubber compound. The clogs are also heavier. The tread is more aggressive and deeper, making better footing on wet surfaces. Anyone who has slipped wearing worn crocs knows what I’m talking about. The adjustable strap on the back is a definite plus. Crocs should make these straps standard. There’s good grip on the inside of the soul, but takes a while to break in.     • Been wearing Crocs nearly exclusively for 10 years
These look great and feel rugged enough. I just hope they last as long as they used to. In the past 10 years, I have had 3 pairs of Crocs (before this latest pair in that time period) and they have been successively wearing out faster (the tread specifically) with each new pair I have purchased. I could understand if I was buying the more 'aesthetically appealing' varieties that look more like glorified bathroom slippers, except I always try to buy the more rugged and heavier variety with thicker tread. This pair here costs slightly more than the previous pairs but seems like the most rugged Crocs yet. I'll try to update in 6 months to a year to see how they are wearing. ... show more

After wearing out a pair of standard crocs, these were my replacement pair. The biggest improvement was the traction and being overall more heavy duty. UPDATE: Heavy duty NOT! Strap tore out after only a few months of wear. I had my previous pair of normal Crocs for a couple of YEARS and the strap was strong as the day I bought them. Save your money folks.
