The rain has been unusually generous this year in California this year, and in the Bay Area it's been enough where sending the kids to school in rain boots hasn't been too bad of an idea. Unfortunately for us, this was the year that our son's Western Chief Kids Solid Firechief Rain Boot(Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid),Black,1 M US Little Kid decided to develop a HUGE rip in the back seam and cause a miserable leak in my son's right boot. I purchased that boot in Nov 2015 and it lasted one rainy season as stormaggedon 2015 never actually showed up and instead waited until 2016-2017. The Crocs Rain Boots seem to be a great replacement boot. First off, these are much lighter than other rain boots. True to Croc fashion, these are extremely lightweight and molded into one piece with no seams. The boots are comfortable for my kid to wear, and he loves that they're literally half the weight of his old boots. He's had no issues with leaks, and because there's no seams, it's unlikely a tear would happen. I have been keeping an eye out for wear, and despite daily use, many stomps through puddles, and running around like an ant on speed, the boots seem to be holding up quite well to my kid's use. Unfortunately, like all other Crocs, these have NO type of lining in them. This was not an issue for us as it's an easy fix - simply wear a thick pair of socks and your kid is good to go. Another issue is that these boots do tend to run on a smaller size. Based on other reviews, I ended up ordering a size up (Size 3 instead of Size 2) and the boots fit my kid well. I can imagine the Size 2 may have been a snug, but can't positively say as I didn't order two pairs for comparison. Either way, there is a little wiggle room for my boy to grow into this boot. For those who have purchased Western Chief boots, those run big - I would go a size up if ordering the Crocs. Overall, great lightweight rain boot for kids - I'll update down the line when these wear out and develop leaks - if any.

Love these boots! I did order a size up from childâs normal on crocs since he was right on the border of 9/10 and they fit really well! Love the easiness of cleaning especially if they get wet, and the style is cute. Seems like high quality material like the Croc shoes. Will be definitely purchasing more! Easiest rain boot to clean!

These are exactly what I was looking for for my 18 month old, they are lightweight and form to her foot inside instead of rubbing and being uncomfortable like a lot of cheap. rubber boots. She is already trying to put them on herself and wearing them around the house. HOWEVER, I listened to all the reviews saying they run small and to size up, and that is apparently not true. She wears a 5 and is almost growing out of an5 so I got a 6, and they are huge on her. I put one next to another size 6 and they are the same. So no, they donât run small. Iâm still keeping them because theyâre perfect and might even order a size 5 just so she can wear them now!!!

These Crocs rain boots are a lifesaver for wet and muddy days. Theyâre lightweight enough for little ones to walk and play in without tripping over bulky rubber, but still completely waterproof. My child can easily slip them on and off thanks to the side handles, which makes getting ready so much easier (and more independent!). The material is soft and flexible, and they clean off with just a quick rinseâperfect after puddle jumping. Theyâre also surprisingly durable; the soles have great grip so I donât worry about slipping. My kid loves the bright colors, and I love that they hold up through all kinds of play. Highly recommend for any parent looking for a reliable, kid-friendly rain boot thatâs both fun and practical!
