At first, it took me a little time to get used to this transfer tape because it doesn’t have a liner or protective backing, and I was used to working with other types. I routinely do large installations using Cricut materials and I planned to use this for a large installation of updated graphics on a boat that we use for education programs at the non-profit I work at. As always, I set up all of my vinyl and got everything onto the transfer tape to install, and began installing. It was the worst installation experience I have ever had. The transfer tape left a very sticky residue all over the front of the vinyl, and you could even see the lines and Cricut branding leftover on the vinyl. I had to goo gone every single piece to get all of the residue off from the vinyl. I will say it was much easier to get the backing paper off the vinyl without the vinyl coming off with it, but that was it's only redeeming quality, and come to find out, it's because it was so stuck to the transfer tape. ... show more

Value is fine but was looking for a less sticky transfer tape for my vinyl projects. It was a bit too sticky- to the point the vinyl wouldn’t stick to my desired surface, so I had to peel it off by hand and place it. Difficult to remove but still nice quality tape. The roll was easy to unwind also. I think for other projects with stickier material it would work, but it didn’t work great for mine. ... show more

Definitely sticky! A little too hard to peel off from roll because it’s so strong and sticky.. but it works well. Sometimes it’s hard to get the vinyl to come off when transferring it onto something else.
