Packaged carefully and came with a velvet bag for carrying the urn to the memorial service, as well as a dust cover bag to protect the urn. The urn had a very secure screw on lid. My wife and I have started some end-of-life planning now that we're in our seventies. Having a family burial plot, the only physical items we need are urns and grave markers. Markers will be provided by the VA when the time is right, so that left burial urns. I was in the Navy, serving on submarines, during the Cold War. I chose this urn for its patriotic theme. The urn is well made, quite handsome with a great graphic, and engraved metal trim. It has a coated interior, and I think it will do the job nicely. My urn came very well packaged in a white protective storage bag. Included is a black presentation bag with gold pull cord. To round out the accessories, a plastic remains storage bag, wire tie and collapsible cardboard funnel have been added. While I'm proud to know this will be my final resting place, in the meantime this urn will grace my shelf as an art object. I call that peace of mind.

I ordered this urn for my father who was recently placed into hospice care & he has requested to be cremated. My dad was a true military hero & I thought this patriotic urn would be a great way to honor him. The details on this urn are amazing. The flag & eagle look so very real & the flowered scroll in the metal portions of the urn is perfect. The lid of the urn screws on & the bottom of the urn has a non-scratch surface. The urn comes with a heavy plastic bag that goes inside the urn to hold the remains. A paper funnel is provided to put the ashes into the urn. The urn comes in a jersey fabric drawstring bag to protect it before use & it comes with a black velvet bag to hold the urn afterwards. This urn is truly beautiful. It literally brings tears to my eyes as I look at the beautiful details on it. I know this will be the perfect vessel for my dad when the angels call him home.
