Technically I bought this for my cat Loki. We sadly lost him at the end of May after a battle with a very aggressive stomach cancer. He was 12 years old and losing him took a part of my soul with him. Now he's sleeping inside Yggdrasil, perched up high on top of his favorite bookshelf, watching over us. As for the urn itself: perfect size, sturdy, and the engraving of Yggdrasil is perfect. It's a bit lightweight, so you may want to weight it down somehow or keep it up high where children or pets can't knock it over. Not that it would pop open, the seal is very good, secured with a screw.

I bought this for a friend. She was able to see it before she passed and loved it. I love the Biblical "Tree of Life" and couldn't pass this up. Affordable and easy to open and close. The whole bottom slides out. It's also a much more affordable price. I paid soooooo much more for a small urn for a 20lb dog than what I paid for this one. I was worried about it's appearance, until I got it. It is subtle, simple, warm in appearance, not grandiose. I really like the somber simplicity and yet, it is beautiful.
