This is the perfect resting vessel for my mother. It has a nice satin finish and the etchings are shimmery but not distracting. Simple and clean, you couldn't ask for something better. The lid is treaded and heavy so you don't feel like your loved one will spill out, I don't have that worry anyway as she's in a bag inside but if your funeral home doesn't do bags the lid will keep their cremains safe. My only issue was my mother passed unexpectedly and we needed something to put her in on short notice. I ordered this within days of her passing and was quoted an arrival of within 1-2wks. The main urn was delayed by almost a MONTH which didn't help with the stress and anguish I was already dealing with. It's been a few months so I'm feeling put back together enough to finally review this urn and company. The quality is superb but the shipping timelines are unacceptable. Please either keep better inventory checks to make sure you can fulfill your shipment estimates or open better communication with your management teams so things stay streamlined. Any hiccups with items like these can feel catastrophic to the grieving.

I'm an Army veteran, my husband is a Marine Corps veteran, and my father was a Navy Veteran. When my father passed away July 15th it was a shock. It devastated me, and what has helped me cope the most throughout this process, has been putting together his Military Memorial. One of the main pieces of that memorial is this Urn, with its amazing hand painted flag and strong design, it is perfect representation of my dad. He was sturdy, strong, loved making things with his own hands and he was a patriot of this great nation. Thank you so very much for putting so much effort, love, and respect into making this Urn. When we received it I felt like it was custom made just for us and my dad. For now it is sharing a shelf along with mine and my husband's medals and awards from our service. Soon my dad will have his very own shelf for his beautiful Urn, his flag inside a custom handmade flag case, his framed DD-214 and his medals.
