I don’t like leaving a lot of reviews, but this crown is SO nice and that says a lot as I have extremely expensive taste and am very picky. It is heavy, well made, you just have to be careful to not bend the thin metal leaves on the design around the front. But it is so nice. I have not hung it yet, but it needs to be installed into the studs to not fall and hurt the person in bed, especially hung with curtains. It is such a nice crown. I think a lot of photos people have added made me not want to buy it as they used the crown incorrectly, too low over a bed, just weird looking hangings, but if you have a traditional home, you can do some research on your own and see how bed crowns are TRADITIONALLY hung over beds, high next to the crown moulding, up by the ceiling. If you have a low ceiling, 8’, then a bed crown is not for you. It makes your room look low and squatty. Bed crowns are for 9’ 10’ or higher. It is all about proportion. Just look online at bed crowns in French estates or chateaux or English country estates to see how it is done properly. My ceiling is 10’ high with crown moulding, so I will hang it just below. The crown moulding, with fabric curtains, lining and tassel trim down the edges of the curtains. I will need to buy some metal tie backs on either side of the bed. Tying with rope looks tacky. Great quality product, if used correctly. If you are buying for a princessy child bed, I would not get this crown, they make smaller ones that are lighter for children, made of resin. ... show more

It’s so cute! Was easy to hang and I used pinch pleat curtain hooks (14 for $1 at Walmart) to hang the curtains to the rods. My bed is a king size for reference.

This is a very nice large bed crown that is very affordable. I recommend buying rings that open and close and have clips hanging from them to hang your curtains. I installed this alone and think its definitely a 2 person job. I would use toggles because of how heavy it is and the added weight of the curtains. I wish it secured to the wall in more than just 2 spots. Also the holes that you hang it from don't sit flush to the wall so there is a little gap between the crown and the wall. Not gonna lie, I'm slightly nervous about it falling on me and plan to purchase additional hardware that will go over the bars to secure it to the wall. I found it difficult to hold the weight of it alone while tightening screws and that it was hard to fit a fullsized screw driver in because of the arch. This was a humbling project to do on my own. This crown is huge! I I am so happy with this. It is worth the money. Now a few pointers. It does not come apart so you have three options to put your curtains on. 1.glue 2.sew 3.pin It does not come apart so those are your three best options. If you don't mind doing a little bit of work, this is well worth the money. My room is a princess fairy tale room and this crown did beautifully what I needed it to do. I added some bedazzles and gave it that bling that it needed. If you want to feel like a princess, this is what you need. I'm not kidding, it's worth it! It is really big. I got white and I couldn't be happier. It's perfect for what I needed. I just added rhinestones that look like diamonds and it is beautiful. Do a little bit of work to it. Make it your own and you won't regret it. Trust me. ... show more
