I bought this little crab as a way to keep my baby entertained and to help with his development during his first few months of life. These have been my impressions so far: Price: pretty reasonable price. The toy did not break the bank, and while I saw other options with lower prices, the higher rating from people made me decide to go for this particular choice. Material: all-plastic construction. The plastic does feel flimsy in some parts of the toy, but then again, considering the price, costs has to be cut somewhere. Visual appeal: this is definitely a toy that will catch the attention of your little one. They are made for babies, after all, and they "look at me" factor is definitely built into this toy. Downsides: This toy is endlessly annoying for adults, at least it is for me, and the only reason I keep it is because my baby is fascinated with it. For whatever reason, this toy comes with its own charging input instead of micro USB or USB C. If you lose the cable, you will have no way of charging the toy. The toy itself loses charge pretty quickly, and takes a long time to recharge. The legs tangle easily. One more thing, there is no control for the volume. It will ALWAYS play at high volume as soon as you turn it on, and that is it. The only way to control the music is to turn the toy itself off. ... show more

This little crab is awesome! Its very annoying underground club music and aggressive blinking lights makes sense of the speed this thing moves. Our kid LOVES it and in small doses it really helps with crawling...if you want a fast crawler. Our little guy also catches it and smashes it on the floor and it still has not broke!! It moves slower on the carpet and super fast on floors ... show more

    • Weak legs! Do not buy if you have carpet!

The media could not be loaded. I love the idea for this little crab sooo much! It’s so cool and weird and I had never seen anything like it! When I turned it my son was very intrigued by it the crazy little legs and flashing eyes and music. It’s very entertaining. However all of those things are not very useful as the crabs legs are very weak and the crab struggles to walk on anything that is not a hard smooth surface. I have carpet in my home and it can not walk on the carpet at all. It gets stuck. It’s only able to walk in my tiled kitchen but my son is not sturdy enough to sit on the floor in the kitchen as he is still learning how to balance. It can’t walk on a blanket laid over the carpet. I ended up laying a bamboo mat over the ground and honestly it struggled with that a bit as well. I really wanted to love this product. Maybe with a couple of tweaks from the manufacturer I can in the future. This is a great idea for a child’s toy and is definitely worth making the modifications to even if it bumps up the price a bit. ... show more
