I'm an avid paper crafter and thought I'd give this little kit a try. It's marked for ages 8+ but I think it's geared a bit more towards 12+ as this type of crafting can be a bit fiddly for younger users. The kit contains the base to make both a "camera" album and a "handbag" album with the decorator paper and ephemera to embellish them both. I like the way it was packaged so that I can actually use the instructions and "base" portions (as a pattern) to create additional albums. It's a bit pricey though as I can buy all the materials needed for less than half the price of the kit (and find patterns online for similar items). The "all in one" kit however would make a nice gift without having to "recreate the wheel" yourself. I deducted one star because of the price as well as the way it was shipped (the box came a bit smashed which also affected some of the materials).

I think this kit is absolutely adorable. This would make for the perfect beginners box. It comes with everything needed to get started, including the glue. The sheets are vibrant and have neat little designs. My only complaint is that they need to use a bigger box. Some of my sheets were crinkled or folded over. And to be quite honest, I don’t know how the lid stayed on the glue.

I thought this was something different when I ordered it. It seems to be more oriented towards teenagers and it really isn't scrapbooking, but you make a camera and/or small handbag made of heavy cardstock. It is easy to use and you can take the instructions and make other things as well. I just thought it was more scrapbooking supplies (stickers, papers, etc) and not a craft kit. Definitely cute though to give to my niece for her birthday.

I was really looking forward to this scrapbooking kit. Sadly my expectations were not met. Everything in this kit was jammed in so a lot of the supplies were creased and damaged. The glue is in an unmarked bottle, definitely use your own glue. The paper pads did not get bent thankfully so those can be used. The directions are hard to understand. There are no measurements on it if you want to make it bigger using your own paper for instance. Just pictures and a few sentences. Over priced for what you get.

My daughter likes to make things. This kits is very complete and nicely colored printed. It is filled with small pages 6”. I wishes they would have used a bigger box. They have smashed everything into this box, many pages are creased and bent. The tape barely kept the box together. No possible way to put things back for storage unused portions

There are two ways to use this kit. You can either build the camera and handbag, or you can use the materials inside the box for other scrapbooking projects. It is a fine first scrapbooking kit for a beginner. I find it a little pricey for what is inside, but as a craft, it provides lots of dexterity and visual learning for the beginner.
