This is the highest endorsement I can give. These pants stood up to crawls and knee slides over utah sand and brass casings perfectly for the whole event. Breathable and lightweight, not super tight for bends and jumps, and they don't ride up over my shoes. The right side mag pocket is deep enough to hold a pmag perfectly and retains it well, the shallow left one not so much. If a course requires retaining spent mags you can easily fit 5 between the cargo pockets and pouches. I can't speak to its long term durability after multiple washes over months, but for the price and performance I'll buy a new pair for every event if I have to. Size and fit are exact as well.

So I've had these pants for a while now and just like the first pair I bought... This pair is great! The only drawback is the lack of stretch in the crotch/legs. I do a lot of mechanical work that requires a lot of bending and squatting so when I have legwear that doesn't offer much "give"... It makes for poor performance. But what I do like is how tough these pants have been. I've snagged the cargo pocket a few times on some sharp corners and didn't have any rips! But that's all I have. If there's a style that offers stretch... I'm buying!

So when I took these pants out of it's packaging, I was thoroughly impressed. I'm a woman, 5'4, 190#. I always wear the Men's 5.11 stryke pants which I love, however I'm sick and tired of only getting 8 months wear out of them before they fall apart due to their thin fabric. Was looking for another option for half the price and came across these. I was a bit worried about sizing as I'm currently in between a 38 and 36. ***DISCLAIMER The 5.11 size 38 is a smidge too big on me. The 5.11 size 36 fits snug with no other layers. The CQR size 36 was so small that I couldn't even button them. The CQR size 38 fits just right in the waist, however NO FLEXIBILITY with bend of the legs, which might be difficult as my job requires lots of movement. So I guess we will see if they break in. For now I'm sticking with the 38. Hopefully they last more than 8 months, or at least by then, I'll be a smaller size. :)

owned these pants for the past two to three months, wear them to hell and back, and i do physical labor in them. unfortunately, tonight when squatting, i ripped the inner thigh material and had to hide it with safety pins. really disappointing because i love the fit and look, but they're not sustainable in the long run.

If you don't know what to buy for men - here is your answer. My husband used to rip out jean seams all of the time. THESE DON"T RIP. Jeans take so long to dry. THESE ARE QUICK DRY. I got my husband converted to these and have gifted them to all of our sons. They, too, are now converted. I only wish they made a style without so many pockets 😊 I know they have so many pockets because they are labeled tactical pants, but it would be nice for the same quality of material to be casual pants.

Changed oil twice and wore them around the farm for 4 months and washed them 2 times, washed them by hand and air dried them , that’s where they are at the moment and they look great. Just need to take time to order a few more for the rest of the year’s wear.

Light and strong, these are nice summer pants, but if you have muscular legs, especially calves, they do grab quite a bit. "Relaxed fit" in this case seems a lot more like straight fit, unless you have them chicken legs.
