Got this toy for my 3 yr old son for his birthday. He loves it. He is big into rocket ships, airplanes, anything that flies (as with any other boy). Was one of the hits at the birthday party, girls and boys. Very well made, sturdy toy. He has dropped it a few times (from standing position) and has held up. Very cool details on all 3 levels of the ship. Is a little on the pricey side but considering the size of the rocket ship and the accessories it comes with (4 characters and space buggy), it is worth the price. I can tell he will play with this toy for a long time. I would recommend for any little boy out there. The only negative this I have to say about this toy is the bottom door (for the space buggy compartment) is a little difficult to open, we often have to help him open it. ... show more

I just received the rocket ship and the toy itself is absolutely as described. All the parts were there and in good shape and the countdown worked just fine. Pulled the bottom ramp off while trying to open it - Looks like that happens to everyone. Goes right back on, but I'm not sure how long it will last once a child gets hold of it. I love the toy - I'm sure my 4 year old grandson will love it. My only complaint is with the seller, I guess. The box is really in bad shape. I had to tape it together in places, it's peeling the graphics off in other places. This is a gift and if it was for an older child, I would have had to send it back just for the presentation. It would really devalue the toy itself. I'm not sending it back because the toy is in perfect shape. I can't imagine how the toy made it after looking at the box. This rocket ship is so cute! It is reminiscent of the original Fisher Price Little People play sets I remember from my childhood, and much nicer than the current Fisher Price Little People play sets on the market. I would give it five stars except for two things. #1 the stickers were not stuck down all the way. I had to go through and finish pressing them down to prevent my three year old daughter from being tempted to peel them all off. #2 the little car is too wide to drive up the ramp into the loading bay section of the Rocket Ship. It will fit into the loading bay for storage if you turn it sideways, but can't be driven in and out for play. All in all, I am still very happy with this purchase. ... show more

    • Fantastic Toy & Well Worth The Price
I was hesitant to purchase this Rocket toy for my three year-old son because I thought it was rather expensive. I decided to buy it for Christmas because he asked a Rocket and an astronaut among the few things on his list. All the other rockets I found were small and we’re not able to be opened to put an astronaut inside, even if one was included. This not only came with two, but also a lunar vehicle and two aliens. It looks great and has held up well in spite of several “space crashes” and difficult landings. My son loves it and it inspires really imaginative play with him working through different scenarios in outer space and on the moon.     • Great rocket for a preschooler!
This was the hit of Christmas with our three and a half year-old. He has spent hours already loading "moon rocks" (gravel) into the lunar lander and driving it around. It's so detailed and the little figures are great, and I love that everything fits back inside the ship. My only minor complaint is that the lower door is a little stiff and tough to open, but overall it's a terrific toy for a little one. My 2.5 year old loves this toy. We just got it today and he has enjoyed doing the count down to blast off and playing with the space men and aliens. I gave it 3 stars because upon first opening it, it is very fragile. The bottom door completely popped off immediately. It is actually not possible to pull it open without removing the entire door, and that’s coming from many honest attempts from an adult. The middle door stays on but isn’t easy to close. It’s almost like all of the plastic hinges aren’t tight enough which is frustrating for the price of the toy. ... show more

Bought 2 of these this Xmas. 1 for my 3 yr old nephew and one for my 2+ year old grandson. Both have very different personalities but both kids couldn't stop playing with it. It's very simple and only has a handful of parts. It's solid and feels like it will last. It makes a couple basic rocket sounds. I liked it because it let's the kids use their imagination and isn't overly stimulating. It does feel a little pricey for what it is but it's a good toy for little ones ... show more
