Got this toy for my 3 yr old son for his birthday. He loves it. He is big into rocket ships, airplanes, anything that flies (as with any other boy). Was one of the hits at the birthday party, girls and boys. Very well made, sturdy toy. He has dropped it a few times (from standing position) and has held up. Very cool details on all 3 levels of the ship. Is a little on the pricey side but considering the size of the rocket ship and the accessories it comes with (4 characters and space buggy), it is worth the price. I can tell he will play with this toy for a long time. I would recommend for any little boy out there. The only negative this I have to say about this toy is the bottom door (for the space buggy compartment) is a little difficult to open, we often have to help him open it. ... show more

I just received the rocket ship and the toy itself is absolutely as described. All the parts were there and in good shape and the countdown worked just fine. Pulled the bottom ramp off while trying to open it - Looks like that happens to everyone. Goes right back on, but I'm not sure how long it will last once a child gets hold of it. I love the toy - I'm sure my 4 year old grandson will love it. My only complaint is with the seller, I guess. The box is really in bad shape. I had to tape it together in places, it's peeling the graphics off in other places. This is a gift and if it was for an older child, I would have had to send it back just for the presentation. It would really devalue the toy itself. I'm not sending it back because the toy is in perfect shape. I can't imagine how the toy made it after looking at the box. I love how it has the little compartments with different rooms. It reminds me of the dollhouses I lived as a kid. It’s perfect for little boys that have a huge imagination.     • Fantastic Toy & Well Worth The Price
I was hesitant to purchase this Rocket toy for my three year-old son because I thought it was rather expensive. I decided to buy it for Christmas because he asked a Rocket and an astronaut among the few things on his list. All the other rockets I found were small and we’re not able to be opened to put an astronaut inside, even if one was included. This not only came with two, but also a lunar vehicle and two aliens. It looks great and has held up well in spite of several “space crashes” and difficult landings. My son loves it and it inspires really imaginative play with him working through different scenarios in outer space and on the moon. This rocket ship is really cool! My 3-year-old son said he wanted a rocket ship for Christmas and I was thrilled to come across this one. I love the design. There are 3 layers with doors that open and flip down bed. Small button has a countdown and blast off recording. The astronauts and aliens are adorable! And it comes with a rover vehicle too! The parts don't move on their own, they are "movable." I kind of wish there were some lights on it. My only complaint is the entry ramp keeps easily coming off, but it can also be easily put back on. My 2.5 year old loves this toy. We just got it today and he has enjoyed doing the count down to blast off and playing with the space men and aliens. I gave it 3 stars because upon first opening it, it is very fragile. The bottom door completely popped off immediately. It is actually not possible to pull it open without removing the entire door, and that’s coming from many honest attempts from an adult. The middle door stays on but isn’t easy to close. It’s almost like all of the plastic hinges aren’t tight enough which is frustrating for the price of the toy. ... show more

I got this for my nephew that’s 2 years old. He loved it! It comes with little astronauts and aliens to play in the space ship with. It also makes cool sounds which he loved.
