First off, EKR/Coverdream makes impressive seat covers. A lot of the stitch points on the black/grey almost 1:1 match the Toyota fabric on the TRD Off Road. The fit and cut are as good as you can get, I'm surprised how well they fit compared to my past experiences with universal seat covers. The color of grey black is a near perfect match to the stock fabric colors. Well done Coverdream. Installation tips, search YouTube to see it. Mine came with a plastic trim tool that is helpful in smooshing the seat covers onto the plastic for the headrest mount. My own tool has a forked end which allowed me to push the elastic straps down around the sides of the front passenger cushion. Durability: The only thing that might not be super awesome in ten years is the elastic straps could weaken and get loose. Oh well, these would have saved the ten years of wear and tear of kids in the back of the truck, so it might be worth a re-purchase anyway. If you shine a flashlight, you can see through the perforation in the front seats, so if you have the heater or cooler, it will still work, but that also means that while the material itself is water resistant, the holes on the front seat could allow coffee through, so maybe Coverdream makes one without the perforation of that's a main factor. The material does add a tiny bit of thickness to the seats, but you don't notice, if anything it adds a much more premium feel, after feeling Toyota cloth for the first few weeks of ownership, it's nice. The front center console cover seems like a welcome freebie when you purchase the set, it went on with some electrical tape wrapped around a pliars so I could grip it without tearing the material and pull down really hard so it got into the space between the console and the rear seat covers. One actual improvement on functionality is that both front seats now have map pockets, Toyota only have one side. The airbags have pockets to deploy, so there doesn't seem to be a compromise. While sitting in the seats, I didn't slide around much in the fabric and these seat covers are less slippery than the last Cadillac I was in, or my older loaded Honda Pilot. If you drip sweat while installing these, you can wipe it up with a cotton cloth easily. I already had one stain on the driver seat back, somehow. I don't have to worry about that anymore. I would strongly recommend EKR and their other brands like Coverdream after seeing this purchase first hand.

Quality. They fit like a glove. It took 1 hour with 2 people. The front seats are harder to install than the back. I’m satisfied. Before installing I poured a small amount of water on the material and the seat cover didn’t absorb the water. It beaded up which made it easy to dab dry.

A bit too expensive . The material seems to be of good quality , nice stitching and good zippers . To make it look good , you have to stretch the heck out of it ( I kept it open on the dashboard in a sunny day. Easier to stretch when it’s warmer ) The fit it’s very good . Only time will tell how long the material will hold without cracking or sagging . It’s been six months of light use ( I’m only driving the car two days a week ) and so far everything is good .

I have a ‘21 sport with the black/grey cloth seats and decided to give these a shot for the price to upgrade the cabin look. These “cover dreams” are made by EKR and while this item didn’t have a lot of reviews, EKR seemed to have very good reviews so I purchased a set. Install seemed to be about what others have posted..took my son and I about 2.5 hours to complete the job after figuring the best way to attack it. For the front seats we found it better to just unbolt the seat (2 in front, 2 in back) to be able to tilt the seat forward and backwards as we were working on the install. We started with the bottom seat covers, once unbolted they were fairly easy to install and adjust to fit flush. We threaded the 3 straps under the front of the seat away from electronics and tightened them up using the buckles at the rear of the seat. These also came with a plastic tool to help push the seat material behind the existing seat plastic cover on the sides (and front for drivers seat). The drivers side was harder since it has all the seat adjustments on the side. There is also a elastic string on both sides if the seat that we pulled tight and tied together under the seat to keep things snug. We also found it better to unhook the OEM seat flap on the back side of the seat to route the flaps and buckles through. Without unbolting the seas you are really just going in blind and by feel to get everything connected, highly recommend unbolting, easy to do and do much easier job. As for the front seat backs and headrest, fairly easy to shimmy the covers on from top to bottom, smooth out, and tuck the flaps under and close the zipper on the side. As you can see in the pictures, I still have a few creases left after a few hours after install, but most have already smoothed out and I’m sure the rest will too with time and use. Rear seats were pretty easy. Started with the seat bottoms again and since the seats fold up they were pretty easy to install and connect the straps to hold in place. Rear seat backs took some double team tugging to get them on and pulled down into position. Headrests were the same design as the front, pull over the top and secured underneath with Velcro. Tip on the rear seat backs, there is a Velcro strip on the back bottom that has blue fabric covering it, remove that to expose all the Velcro and connect the front bottom flap to the rear bottom Velcro. Overall, really happy with how these turned out and it does look and feel more upscale than the cloth. I also really like the quilted center sections with red thread to give an accent to my Barcelona Red Tacoma. The red stitch is not too bright, just the right amount to not stand out and just accent. My wife came and sat down after install and she said she would have never guessed they were covers from the look and feel. She also commented that they provide a little extra padding on the seat bottom for more comfort. If you have someone to help install, it is not too bad of a job and highly recommend. I can’t speak to the long term durability, but for the price you really can’t go wrong with this set.

These covers are great! I bought another manufacturer and the zipper broke, the design didn't line up and the 2nd row seat bottom had nothing holding the sides from flapping. Not with these! They're easy to install yet fit like a glove, better zippers and look great! Thick material, great price and quick shipping. Highly recommend!
