I’ve been on the search for a brown boot that is actually wide calf friendly and I could wear tall boot socks with. I ordered a pair of dream Paris boots but the calf was tight. These are very wide calf friendly, at least for me. My calves are a little less than 15 inches around and there’s enough room for boot socks. They aren’t also super tall on me. Most boots go up all the way to my knee and these sit about 3 inch below my knee. Overall very happy with them. They are a little slouchy and aren’t as structured but that’s fine with me. I also have wide feet and it is slightly narrow but not uncomfortable for me. For reference I’m 5’2”, 140 lbs, and order one size up (7) in boots so I can wear thick socks ... show more

These boots are decent. Fit as described and comfy and the color is accurate too, but don’t get your hopes up with the promo images—these here are clearly different boots of lesser quality and are not a good Frye dupe. They are not nice and stiff like real leather but bunch up making them look cheap. They might have been worth the $40 I initially paid for them but certainly not more. ... show more

I wore them to a concert and stood on my feet for three hours, and they were incredibly comfortable the entire time, no soreness or blisters at all. The big calf girls (I see you ex-softball players) should give these a try! Very roomy for my yuuge calves. However, I have to wear very thin socks to make them comfy. But the foot area has definitely stretched since I bought them.
