The quality on this product was shockingly great! Nice, thick fabric for the tunic and the pants were a great color. They look like nice slacks, but once you cover the front and add boots, they are great. People complaining about not knowing how to put it on are a little silly. 1 belt and 2 shoulder sashes. Just look at a picture. It's fabulous that they are separate pieces because it looks legit! The price shows a little bit with the outer robe being pretty thin, and not as high of quality. But that was ok, considering how thick and textured the tunic was. It would have been WAY too warm with a thicker outer robe. Also, this is VERY white, (more like older Obi Wan), so we ended up dying the white fabric to be more of a cream color, and he looked fantastic. Took 30 minutes and cost $4. You can see the color in the last shot. For the price, you aren't going to beat this. ... show more

PERFECTION! My boyfriend wears a medium in most things, and this cosplay in medium fit him like a glove. I was worried about the pants since everyone kept saying they ran small, but they fit him absolutely perfectly. He's 5'9", slim build, no tummy or chest fat, slim hips and behind. (Not sure of his waist measurement, either 32" or 34".) He wore this all day at a con, and it looked excellent. The only part that seemed oddly small was the beige waist band, it wouldn't close all the way, so I just used a safety pin. Somehow, though, the belt was almost too big, the velcro closure barely touched without being too large. Someone needs to check the beige waist band measurement and why it's so much smaller than the belt. Everything else fit perfectly, and the top robe stopped just above the ground, so it looked grand, but didn't drag on the ground. I used safety pins to close the shirts in the back, and to pin the tabard to the shirts so they wouldn't move around. I'll eventually put velcro on there for a more permanent solution, but the pins held fine all day. Overall a great cosplay, great value! ... show more

I can't write a simple review or letter so bear with me while I type. Overall I'm quite happy. Keep in mind - this is a somewhat complex costume with several parts. Each of our bodies is fabulously different and unique, so not every piece of this costume will fit each person (or even me!) perfectly. I ordered a LARGE and I'm 5' 6" and 175lbs. So ... I'm short and fat, heavyset, well-fed, decadent - happy :) I posted "Fit as expected". My expectations were based on reading the reviews, NOT the information provided by the manufacturer. * Design * The fabric of all the pieces while thin, is of reasonable type / quality. The pants have a button and zipper, however, the tunics, robes etc so not have fasteners and you will need to use safety pins or similar to keep properly closed - no biggie, just remember it. There were a couple of extra white fabric pieces that seem to have no purpose, however, I believe they might have been included as extra sets of the white fabric belt that goes under the dark-colored belt (as the one provided was somewhat small and this extra fabric will be needed for those with larger than 33" waist. * Fit * Remembering I'm 5' 6" 175 with large chest/shoulders and 33" waist... >Pants - VERY Snug (if you have a waist larger than 34" - I would recommend an XL outfit or you'll be hurtin' - or cutting the fabric). >Outer robe - long but fine. >Inner white and brown tunics - long but fine. >Brown belt - fine probably up to 36" waist. >White fabric belt (with velcro) - VERY SNUG, however, there were two, larger extra white fabric belts that can be used (albeit, without velcro). * Conclusion * Value is personal to your values and pocketbook. I'm fairly well off, yet compared to the "CR&%" I've seen at large retail box stores during Halloween, I feel this outfit is a good value that I believe I will be wearing every two years when the next Star Wars movie releases! Most importantly readers - if you can work around the sizing issues, I think it REALLY looks great. I'm pleased. Recommend. ... show more

    • Ordered XX-Large and it's decent!

I'm a 6'2, 250ish Lb man and I ordered this for Halloween this year and am pleasantly surprised that it is pretty good overall. The pants are a bit longer and came with a buttonhole that had to be made slightly larger. The sewing on the item is better than expected for a costume, but of course not perfect. The hooded cape had a few threads hanging. The Gui or upper Tonique is made out of almost what old potato sacks were made out of and is very breathable and looks very authentic. The pants look a little less authentic but serves the purpose for the costume. The hooded cape I was a bit disappointed that it was so thin but it seems to sit and rest correctly and the length is good. Overall for the price, it is a very good costume. The belt is a bit off. The case has a big hole in the bottom so you're not going to be able to use it functionally and just as decoration. It is held on by a large piece of Velcro in the back. It's not the highest quality of outfit I'm sure, and there is likely better on the market, but for my purpose of Halloween use it is very good, overall! I would recommend it to someone who is using it for a few days use of course as it does look great for the price! Just waiting on my lightsaber to post pictures! ... show more
