The fabric is very comfortable. It’s seersucker cotton, and even though it was very hot on Pioneer Day, the dress was comfortable. I’m wearing it here with a full-length petticoat. The dress is wonderful quality, and I am considering maybe getting it again in a different color. The price is very reasonable, compared with other dresses of that period. Beautifully crafted, true to size, though a bit long. No stretch, so be careful if you’re between sizes. Better to size up. Comfortable to wear and looked great for Halloween! I used this as my outfit for a character from Out of the Dust by Karen Hesse! I added a bonnet!

5'6" , 32D, 126lbs purchased a small. The Grey dress is Grey. It looks blue in the pictures, so I rolled the dice and hoped for blue, but it is indeed grey. This dress is okay. The waist is too high for the style, so it makes my boobs appear to be saggy. For the price, it is well enough made. The top has.a white lining to reduce see through-ness. The arms are long enough the length is appropriate for 1880s frontier. I will take pictures to add before I make the following alterations: Create a longer waist by cutting top from bottom and adding a belted sash in gray. Open front and make real button holes. It looks nice enough, but I want nursing access. The material is appropriately thick if you wear proper underwear for the style. Pictures are will be in modern underwear. Better than expected. I needed a dress for old fashioned Sunday and this is perfect. It is extremely affordable and arrived with no issues. I am 5’5” and weigh 210 lbs and bought it in XL. It fits better than I thought! I’m smaller in the chest so it’s a little loose, but it’s not unflattering. The material is very lightweight and thin so it’s not super hot, which I appreciate. The quality is great for the price. It’s not itchy or uncomfortable which is a bonus!! Overall I am SO happy with this purchase and I want one in every color. Purchased for a Victorian event, this dress looked great with 4 hoop slip. It's sear sucker, so ironing out wrinkles is a waste of time, but I was able to get serious creases out. Starching the sleeve ruffle so it stood up a bit made it look different next to the same dress in a different color. The fabric was wonderful in hot weather. I'm 6' and I bought a bigger size so I could get the length I needed. I planned to take it in, but didn't need to. Wearing flats, just the toes peeped out from under the hem.
