We thought these cord organizers were a great idea, and 90% of the time they are. We found they really improved our closet and kept cords from dangling everywhere. The only downside is, on larger appliances like toaster or crockpot, they stick pretty far out causing it take up a good amount more space. It isn't an issue with things like the kitchenaid that has cut-out portions though. ... show more

This product works as intended but it struggles a bit with thicker longer cords. I tried to use it with my shop vac but the cable was too long and thick and therefore wouldn't hold. It works great with shorter cables though. My iron has a little bit longer cable than normal and see can see how it came out, does the job but not as pretty. I had seen something like this (a DIY hack on Pintrest) so when I saw someone actually made these I was pretty excited. My pantry was a little out of control with cords everywhere and with these I was able to get everything under control and make things look neat and tidy. They adhere with a 3M strip that felt snug once I applied it (even to really smooth surfaces, like my stand mixer) and held the cords with no problem. I did notice that the cord holders stick out quite a bit though so you might need to factor this in when accounting for how deep this could push the appliance out when stored on a shelf. Also, I did not try to apply these to any appliance who's outer body gets hot (i.e. Instant Pot, slow cooker, etc.) due to concern over how that might effect the adhesive or whether it could make a mess with melted adhesive stuck on the body of the appliance. The holder themselves are made of silicone so I'm sure that would not melt but I can't speak to the 3M adhesive. I also really liked that these came in a 4 pack. Highly recommended! ... show more
