The 3D Micro-Gauge Siping is Cooper's trademarked technology used to stabilize the tread elements and provide remarkably responsive handling. The 3-D Micro-Gauge Sipes provide stability and traction in both wet and dry conditions. I've always purchased Michelin pilot sports on all my vehicles in the past. But for my charger they were just way too expensive so I searched a while until I seen these for a great deal (130$ per tire for 20") bought a set and they are very impressive tires. They have a ton of grip and are great in the rain, it's hard to spin the tires even if you try. I can't speak for the longevity of them which I've read is not great. But I will say I am thoroughly impressed with these tires. Also never bought tires from Amazon but FedEx delivered them to me in a nice stack at my front door. Would definitely buy again ... show more

I purchased 4 of these and hand them installed at a local tire shop while visiting Kentucky. These are much quieter than the Pirelli's that I usually buy. I'll update if my opinion changes after driving back to Florida, but I'm thrilled with the 4 Cooper tires! Plus, they arrived a day early!

I purchased this set to replace a set of aging Yokohama Avid Envigor on my Maxima. This is the first set of replacement tires I've ever bought that make a noticeable improvement in handling and comfort. The first thing I noticed was that the ride was FAR more comfortable. Handling feels very secure on wet pavement. Confident handling at 70+ highway speeds. Unless you have really odd or aggressive driving habits you can't go wrong for the money (and I paid over 2x as much including installation for my last set locally, than I paid for these tires.) So people ask me "how do you deal with tires you buy from Amazon?" Answer - they come to you stacked in two sets of 2 taped together on your front porch. You roll them to the garage or keep them in your car (they are 25 lbs each.) You take em to your garage and pay to have them mounted. Mounting and balancing will add about $100 to your cost. WELL WORTH IT to avoid the high local prices. And look for Cooper's cash back offer which is regularly renewed. I just received the $100 back on these tires. With the rebate included, these tires are at the same price level as no-name Asian brands with no service network in the US. ... show more

    • All's well that ends well
As of now, I'm very pleased with these tires and their performance but to get to this point wasn't the best experience. If all 4 tires had balanced well, it would have been 5 stars. But they didn't. After three tires had been balanced/installed, the last tire was -5. My mechanic strongely suggested I not go with a tire that was more than -2. I went with his suggestion. I contacted Cooper who were soooo fantastic, wanted to work with my mechanic and resolve the situation with no cost to me. However, since the tire had been purchased online and not by him, he was, naturally, reluctant. At this point, I returned the tire to Amazon, no problems with returning, and waited for it to be available. After 10 days, I ordered it, it arrived, and it balanced/installed very well. Now my car rides like a dream. Great tires. Too bad one tire brought down this rating. So, all's well that ends well. ... show more
