I took a chance on this brand based on the reviews and I want to add to them to help out the next girl trying to decide which brand to buy from for the French curl braid hairstyle. As other reviews said, hair tangles, but spraying with water helps out immensely. Hair texture is silky smooth, making it hard to grip sometimes. My stylist had to knot it at the roots instead of braiding knotless. To secure the braid at the end, my stylist tied a knot then used a lighter to melt the hair a bit because the hair was too silky to stay in a knot on its own. No other review said this, so I could be a special case… but this hair does shed! I feel like a dog lol. And some of the braids are fraying just after two days. Last thing to note: I ordered two packs (18 packs of hair total) and had hair left over (8 packs). I ordered 22inch in the 27/613 mix and the 27. 8 Week Update: Braids still look nice & neat. Roots have grown out. Curly ends finally matting & looking frizzy. ... show more

I loved the length of it, I got the 26 inches. I got two of the 9 pack ones because I thought one wouldn’t be brought but I ended up using 10 packs and my hair is parted pretty small. Although the packs come small, they definitely go a long way. My only complaint is that the hair is VERYYY FINE! When I say fine, I mean FINEEE.. it’s basically Barbie doll hair so learning to braid with it at first was a learning curve. I’d say if you’ve braided white people’s hair before or have braided doll hair, then you should be fine. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. First thing to know is this hair is a silky texture so you need to spray it with water in order to manage it and avoid tangles when separating the hair for braiding. That being said COLD WATER is the magical potion to any issues with this hair. If it starts to tangle, mist with water; if you need to revive the curls, mist with water!! It bounces right back literally. Yes the curls are nice and bouncy. I used 6.5 of the 9 packs I received for a full head on my 16 yr old daughter. I tied a small knot in the ends and secured with some nail glue. I didn’t want to lose the curls by dipping the ends in hot water like with other braiding hair. I finished with some setting lotion and oil sheen. Turned out perfect!! I will definitely be using this hair more often especially for this look or even goddess braids. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I just got this hair installed, and I can already tell it’s going to tangle. I got it done at a shop so I didn’t have to deal with doing it myself but I already don’t see the ends lasting really long. I get my hair done all the time and i try to keep my braids in for 2-3 so i’m hoping i’m wrong… I have had this style before, but I bought good quality hair which can add up after a while because my hair is very thick and I have a lot of it… It also feels a bit heavy… but that could just be because my hair just got done. I’ll update after a month or so… Mid July Update: So I got my hair done June first and it’s July 16th so a month and a half and here is my update. The hair isn’t terrible, it does have more tangles and fly aways compared to a higher quality brand but it isn’t unbearable. a little moose can fix the issue. while i feel as if i have gotten adjusted to the weight of the hair, it still is heavy, but that’s probably just because i have thick hair. i’d recommend this hair, but if you can get better hair i’d go with that ... show more
