Overall a pretty good purchase, the fabric is a thin T-shirt fabric which makes it lightweight and comfortable in warmer temperatures, the biggest issue so far is that the collar is very small making it a squeeze to put it on/take it off

Having seen cloaks and ponchos in games and movies and such for so long, I'm surprised I never tried one in real life before, aside from the cheap plastic ones you throw away after using them once for rain. I can't quite explain it, but the moment I put this poncho on, it felt great. I felt great. I cannot remember ever putting on a piece of clothing and immediately feeling so awesome, and somehow, this simple poncho did it for me, and I can't go back. I'm a poncho person now, and one I hope Cameron Monaghan can be proud of. Jokes aside, this poncho is good. The fabric isn't too rough or too soft - it won't irritate your skin unless you're very sensitive, but it isn't like a soft blanket. I've been comfortable enough in it, and have even slept in it when I was too lazy to get a clean blanket. I haven't gotten the chance to wear it in any rain to see how well it deals with that, but I'm hopeful it'll at least help.

Very soft and nice. Looks great. While it looks and feels nice, it's also made of cotton and not very durable. Not made for the rain. You'll absorb every drop of water. Regardless, it looks and feels great for just day hiking or strolling around town.

This is a good quality, light weight cape. The fabric is good quality. As they say in the description, it is light weight fabric, but seems to me to have a thread count higher than most t-shirts. The hems are generous, about an inch wide. The red line of fabric is part of the hem at the bottom of the cape, but not present in the hood. The neck opening is as shown in the photos of the models, so it is like putting on a t-shirt getting it over your head. The draw strings on mine are not as long as those in the photos unless you pull them to reduce the hood's opening around your face. The opening of the hood is round, as shown in the photo's of the unworn capes. With the hood up, it has just enough stiffness to give a little shade to my eyes without obscuring forward vision. The pockets are 7" deep, and the openings are at least an inch lower than my jeans pockets. My elbows are bent when my hands are in the pockets. The cloak falls about mid thigh. My wrists show outside of the cloak with my hands at my side. So the fit of the Large size cloak on a 6'1" frame is very close to the photos of the models.
