This turtleneck is made of soft fabric that is well fitting. The turtleneck goes up on the neck enough for a base layer to keep in warmth, but not so much it binds up, and it doesn't leave bunching fabric around the neck. It's the perfect amount of fabric on the neckline. It's plenty long and the sleeves are also long for nice coverage and warmth. The fabric doesn't wrinkle, and doesn't smell weird. There are no labels to cause discomfort. Basic black top made in a nice color of black. It looks exactly like the picture and fits great! Highly recommend!

I love how soft and stretchable this shirt is. Nice long sleeves, long waist. Comfortable all around. Ultra light weight, would work well for sleep, or under shirt. Love it!

Amazon sells a lot of inexpensive lightweight thermal shirts. This one is more expensive than most of the others, but the construction quality feels a little better. They still recommend hanging to dry after washing to improve durability. The fabric of this shirt is thin so it fits well under a close fitting sweater. Sizing is is relatively large, so if you prefer a skin-tight fit (like most thermal base layers), I would order 1 size smaller than your usual USA size.

I spend a lot of time outdoors in cold weather, and am always looking for good base layers. This shirt is a perfect medium weight base layer - I wouldn't put it in the lightweight category as it is advertised though. It also fits me perfectly so I would say it is true to size. I look forward to the winter when I can try it out for warmth.
