I’ve bought plenty of pairs of low cut chucks in the past and they’ve always been a little uncomfortable until broken in, but once they are they feel just fine. But NOT these. This is my first pair of the lower cut style with the elastic back, I bought these for the look and because they are even lower than the regular low cuts but this will definitely be my last pair of this style. I ordered the same size I always get but these are so uncomfortable! I’ve been wearing them everyday trying to break them in but always have to take them off by the middle of the day because they hurt so bad that I can’t take it anymore. The problem is in the area towards the top of the foot and shoe, it is more narrow than usual and always leaves blisters on the sides of my feet. I’ve had them a couple months and they are showing no signs of breaking in or becoming more comfortable with wear so they’re a big let down :( ... show more

Update: I received my new (replacement) pair of chucks and they are perfect. For me a half size down is perfect. With these i love that they are meant not to be tied. So cute! I wore them all day at work and they were pretty comfy. I wore little bootie socks that I’d wear with flats, but next time I’ll wear something that covers the top of my foot more. The fabric rubbed in one spot of my foot but no big deal. They’re tennies...they should be worn with a form of a sock. Good price and good shoe. I couldn’t find this cheaper anywhere....and I’ve looked. Excuse me while I order other colors now. ————————- I’ve been wanting my first chucks for so long and this was a great price so I ordered my usual 7. The moment I opened them I tried them on and it looked like I had clown shoes on. These definitely run big. I’d go down either a half or whole size. If I can find kid sizes with cheap prices I’ll buy them instead since I know how they fit after trying them on in the store. (Benefit to having smaller feet😉) I will update my review once I get the new pair and wear them to see how comfy they are. I hope a half size smaller is enough because I hate this back-n-forth stuff. I have a wide foot and ordered these because they were said to run a half size large. I was a bit apprehensive when I opened the box as the shoes looked very narrow. They were extremely tight but immediately started stretching, thankfully. This is my second day wearing them and they seem to be fitting well! Not a single blister so far. I've tried several styles of Converse and these seem to be a bit wider than others I've tried. I especially love that they're slip-on and don't have to be tied. The laces are cute and the stretchy back makes them easier to get off and on. I do think that they're ridiculously overpriced but they FIT. They aren't at all heavy and look good with summer dresses as well as jeans. All in all a very cute shoe, and I hope they'll continue to get more comfortable as I wear them. All in all, I'm pleased I tried them and hope they'll hold up well. ... show more
