I love Converse sneakers, but at 32 years old I find I am often sacrificing comfort for fashion when I wear them. Not these kicks! They are slightly wider than the traditional version, the padded tongue is more comfortable, and they offer more arch support. I tied them loose, pulled the tongues up, and wore them 4 days straight at parks with hardly any incident. On the 3rd day one shoe did start to rub the back of my ankle, but a fabric bandaid created an effective barrier and they were fine to continue wearing the rest of the day and the next day too. I'm hard pressed to find ANY shoe comfortable enough to wear that many days in a row. These were by far the most stylish option for my age and the occasion. Highly recommend! ... show more

What’s not to love about Chucks? I’ve worn Chucks for a loooong time, and these are the same as my first pair in19….😉 I need to wear an orthotic with them. I haven’t owned converse in many many years. I actually purchased these for the gym since I’ve been working out barefoot for deadlifts & hipthrusts. These are surprisingly comfortable. Like the bottom is cushioned as you walk even though it doesn’t feel or appear like the shoe has padding. I ordered a 6 as my usual 6.5 wasn’t available, they felt a little tight initially but it’s not painful. Think these will fit perfectly as they stretch accordingly to converse reviews.
