I wanted to love these SO BAD. They're so adorable and the price came down to a point I could justify buying them. Sadly, they run super big in the heel (either that or I just have small heels) to the point they rubbed hard with every step. I tried tying the laces differently, I tried them with various socks, even barefoot, and they were always too painful in the heel. I'm so disappointed!

I loved the classic look however they are very hard! Not comfortable, at least not for me! I almost sent them back but I like the style and I decided to just put a cushion inside but definitely not like back in the day! The rubber is entirely too hard, too stiff! Top of the shoe quality is good and I don't think that it's a bad investment but just not comfortable and when you wear a sneaker is supposed to be very comfortable! Doesn't get any more comfortable than that!

The sneaker is made big and I’m upset that I spent that money on it and waited too late to return it, but I only wore one time and my feet was coming out of the shoes. It’s made really big for his size. I ordered a nine and the nine is too big and I normally wear a size 9 1/2 or 10 on sneakers. I don’t recommend the purchase. It’s a really cool sneaker, though I love the look of it. I’m just upset that I can’t fit it.

I have worn the regular, black, low-top Converse for decades, but was tickled to discover there was a chunkier version! The laces they come with are just not acceptable … black (whoever has heard of black Converse with black laces?!) and very lightweight, like something that might be found on an inexpensive men’s dress shoe. I bought the appropriate white laces immediately … and now I’m happy.
