These sneakers are nice. To my slight disappointment, they are just a tad big. I will keep them, as they will be better with a thicker sock. The look is cool and casual, and the leather and arch support better than expected. *The sneaker is sized to men’s sizes, not women’s, so check to see what your correlating size will be when you order. Although converse shoes are famous for the fabric/ canvas shoe. The platform makes it very hard and uncomfortable to me. My foot is on the wider side and I felt like it was hanging off. They’re super cute. I do miss the tongue of the shoe that had a slot for laces so that you can adjust the shoe and stabilize the tongue. The value is not good as they would only work for taking a picture. I unfortunately had to return them. I’m not sure about the quality, because I didn’t keep them. They did not fit my wide foot high instep well. Traditional converse quality but the platform needs more cushioning. ... show more

I ordered the leather version of the all star lift sneaker. The tongue of this shoe is very uncomfortable and cuts into the front of my leg. Other than that, it's well padded and a good looking shoe, but they needed to use a different softer material for the tongue. As for the size, I usually wear a 9 in running shoes, and the 8 fits well in this shoe. Note, the insole does not come out, so if you use orthotics you're out of luck. However the existing insole is very cushy and nice on the "lift" converse. ... show more
