i love my chucks. i’m 67 years old, and have been wearing them as long as i can remember. but back then, we had all kinds of sneaks to choose from, and all were great: chucks, red ball jets, keds... but chucks have survived, and it is still possible to get the old school style as they always have been. i had them in high school, college, law school, and after, but i don’t remember ever having had a pair of low top all blacks. until now. ahhhh, life is good, despite the pandemic. or perhaps because of it. i’ve been buying my way out of my funk, and between shoes and great vinyl LPs, we’re making it.

These are really good shoes and are genuine. Converse subtly changed their logo and customers think these are fake. They are real and they come directly from a converse seller. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the box had the size I ordered on it, but the shoes inside were the wrong size.

Saw a co-worker with a pair and decided I wanted some too. To be sure, I tried a pair of Chuck Taylor All Stars at a retailer first. I have invariably worn a size 11.5 mens in Nike for about 25 years. Literally every pair has been 11.5 for so long, I don't have to try them on. Always fit the same. For these Chucks, I got a 10.5 mens, and they fit perfectly. Hope the comparison is helpful.

I was so disappointed. There was nothing wrong with the shoes themselves, but I heard they ran small so I researched as much as I could because I had always wanted a pair of these shoes. I thought I had the right size (7 1/2 w) and they were still to small and too tight on the sides. Unfortunately, I was unable to get a hold of customer service to help me. That is the only reason I am giving them a 4.
