I loved the idea of these shoes. When I put them on, I was feeling really cute and retro but my 66 year old feet screamed when I stood up. It seems that the top inner metal hole for the laces, lines up with the bone at the bottom of my big toe. I walked around the house a bit but the pain was horrible.
