I have always admired the look of the Converse Chuck Taylor Low's, I am a pretty generic in style. I understand the risk and the expectations that come with buying an all white shoe, however these looked good enough to risk it and the price is reasonable. **PICTURES TO COME** Upon opening the box I was extremely disappointed. It looked to me as if someone had worn these shoes for a couple days, boxed them up, and shipped them my way. I know what to look for in the appearance of a brand new shoe, bought from the manufacturer, and these were far from it. There was dirt all over the heal and sole of the shoe, along with scuffs running on the toe. For this reason I recommend buying these from the converse website, that will be my next step once I am issued a refund...it sucks to have to pay for shipping but I would rather do that and receive a pair of TRULY white Chuck Taylors

I have purchased many pairs of Chucks over the years and was pretty disappointed with this pair. Within weeks the bottoms of the shoes started detaching, and the left shoe had already worn through on the bottom. At first I thought it was because of my job where I am constantly on my feet. Based on the many reviews here stating these are fakes, I ordered another pair directly from Nike/Converse and the new pair did not have the same problems. I cannot say for certain that these are fakes. I've previously purchased pairs from Amazon that lasted years and never had a reason to suspect they were anything but legitimate Converse. In the future, however, I will purchase directly from Nike/Converse.

Ok, the Iconic Chuck Taylor's, there's little else that must be said about them. Having a long history these shoes have been worn by generations as they gather a cult following. This is the 5th set of Check's that I have owned and know that when I buy them they will fit as I expect and be built with quality. I have been earing these in the low-top style since I was 13 and will never stop as they match my style perfectly. I've always work these in the low-top style and have loved them as I would my first born child. They fit have always been perfect with no perceivble variance over the years. It's been probably the only shoe that I've been able to go out and buy without tying on to make sure that it fits. Their soles are perfectly matched between grip and durability producing a shoe that won't slip while lasting. They are easy to keep clean no matter how dirty they get and make for the perfect ight weight footwear as they allow for freh dry air to paass through. Over the years their price has steadily risen but for this shoe I think that the the price is worth it. With a wide variety in both low and high-top in various colors and prints this shoe is matched to anybody's peronal taste. I've been buying this exact shoe for over 30 years and plan on doing it for another 30. If you're buying this shoe you are most probably familiar with it. It's the best for a reason. This is squarerly in my "CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT" caategory.

I never thought that I would like the way these shoes look on me. I bought these shoes primarily to wear to the gym for weightlifting. These are my first pair of high-tops EVER and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I absolutely LOVE these sneakers! I wear them all the time and they look good with nearly everything. These Chucks are legit! I've always been a fan of Chuck T's and it's pretty much the only shoe I'll wear besides trainers for working out. I've had this pair for almost 3 years now and they're still in great shape, they still look brand new with a wipe down here and there. For 2 years straight I traveled around the world with one pair of these Chucks and they held up, I've been through all kinds of terrain, every weather scenario you can think of and they held up. Go ahead and treat yourself to some Chucks...you won't regret it!

Got these shoes a few years ago, first pair of converse so i decided to go with the classic white high tops. Best decision i’ve ever made. These shoes have been through so much since then, I went through all of senior year of high school with them, i graduated in these shoes, i fell in love in these shoes, i broke up with my first love in these shoes, i went to college 500 miles from home in these shoes, i learned to skateboard and boarded around campus all year in these shoes, i traveled to oregon, colorado, tennessee, north carolina, and more in these shoes, i found my current love in these shoes, and now they’ve come to the end of their life. Sidewall delaminating from the bottom, toe piece delaminating from the fabric, big rips in the side of the fabric, three different pairs of laces (all of which ripped/burned by skateboarding at some point), and the bottom rubber so soft and thin i can feel pine needles through it. Not to mention they became very dark and stained by hundreds of activities, they’ve got dirt from nearly a half a dozen states in them. And if i’m being honest, i’m still gonna wear them occasionally when i need shoes i’m not worried about, the reason i’m getting new ones is because i don’t want them to completely fall apart, and one puddle will make them wet for a week. Obviously, if you’ve read this far, you can expect that i’m getting the exact same pair again. I ended up spending most of my time in red laces, so i got the same style in navy blue, because i like that i can wrap them around my ankles. They’re vsudo 71” laces, i recommend them. I’ve never gotten any comments that i should have worn nicer shoes, anyone who ever says anything will comment on the deep character that the shoes convey. TL;DR these shoes have been through hell and back, life has given them everything it’s got and they’ve walked right over it. Highly recommend if you want a shoe that can do nearly anything and last you long enough.
