There are certainly shoes better for non slip but for the price, comfort and durability I wish I found out about these sooner. I was using shoes 4crews and off brands, total wastes of money compared to these. Only problems (probably specific to my work situation) are they built up a bad smell faster than other shoes and I will be replacing the laces with something more water resistant

These are definitely wide-feet friendly! I would even say that these are actually made for men with wide feet, as they are a bit too wide for me. I'm a female with wide feet wearing a 10W or 10.5M in women's sizing, neither of which you can ever find so, often I wear men's sized shoes. I wear men's 9 in Nike's, Pumas and other average to narrow width shoes, but 8.5 in most others. I need an 8 for this shoe, which I have never worn an 8 in any other shoe before. That's how wide these are!

I use this product every day, whether working out or just walking around at the mall. It dressier than a regular converse boot and can definitely be worn casual or dressy.
