I saw a person my age (50) wearing a pair of Converse Chuck Taylor's and thought "Man, I wonder if they are as comfortable as they were when I was a kid?" and then I thought that they actually looked pretty good. I had just received an Amazon gift card for $25.00 and didn't know what to spend it on, well now I did. I was going to get myself a pair. So I went to the Amazon website and was ready to order but before I did I read some of the reviews. I'm glad I did! What I kept reading was how they didn't fit true to size, yet a couple reviews stated they did. So I went to a local store and tried on a couple pair. I'm a size 11 and sure enough they were too big. I tried on the 10 and it fit, however it was still tight at around the outside toe area. The store I was in didn't have a 10-1/2 and neither did 2 other surrounding stores. I decided to order a 10-1/2 and decided what's the worst that can happen send them back? Well I got them and as the title of my review states I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED that the 10-1/2 fit great. I highly recommend trying on a pair before buying them. I bought the low top unbleached and also liked the fact that the laces were the same unbleached color as the sneaker. They look great. I like how they look with shorts and they look really cool with your favorite pair of jeans. Other reviews talk about lack of support and that is true, however the flatness of them are the comfort of them. My compllments to Amazon and Lastpairs for having a size 10-1/2. So go out and get yourself a pair. Treat yourself to some old time comfort and style.

I had been looking for a pair of Chuxk Taylor Converse sneakers to replace the pair I wore out after over a decade. I received my new pair today, and am so happy:) I read the reviews that started these ran large, so ordered a half size smaller than my usual size. I think if I would have gotten a full size smaller they would have been a little too tight. They fit perfectly:) They arrived neatly boxed and when expected. I would recommend this seller and buy from them again.:) Thank u.:)
