I bought these for weightlifting shoes as the reviews say they will work well this way. I have a pair of powerlifting shoes but research says they are only really good for squats and Chucks are better for squats and deadlifts. I've been lifting since my dad bought me a junior tot weight set from sears in the late 60's. It helped me a lot since most of my friends at school were 2 years older than me making it much harder to compete in competitive sports at a young age in a small town school. Converse all star were the gold standard of basketball shoe is the 70s. I played at a young age and remember wanting them but only having pro keds my grandparents( bought me. but they bought pro keds deck shoes instead) I took a lot of razing from my team mates that year, harder to fit in when you re the only fid on the team with the wrong shoes. The next year my parents tried to get me the right shoes but they were the converse rejects, (all my team mates knew this at a glance) Another year of razing from my teammates. It wasn't until years later that I realized my parents just did not have the extra money to pay for the Converse all stars. Any way I did get a pair or 2 eventually and they worked great. Once I put these on they took me back in time a little, both good and bad memories. They look and feel extactly the same as the shoe made in the 70s. To the people who claim these are fakes they are mistaken these are the REAL DEAL. The Air Jordans of the 70s.. Most likely the shoes you bought BEFORE were the fakes. THESE are REAL.

I bought these for my 11-year-old daughter for her Halloween costume, but she loves them so much she just wears them as her every-day shoes! She loves them, and they are now her favorite shoes. We first bought her an 8 1/2, and they did not fit. She does have larger feet, so we expected this. We then ended up buying her a 9 1/2 and they fit perfectly. She wants another pair and is very satisfied.

TOO PERFECT. Sad their a size bigger. I should’ve read the reviews to ensure the sizing etc. sure enough they are a size too big. And retiring etc is a hassle lol. But good quality. Came in a converse box as well. 10-10

These Cons look great and are surprisingly comfortable. They run about a half size larger than other shoes, so order with that in mind. I'm usually right in between 12 and 13, and since no one makes a 12.5 I often have difficulty finding shoes that fit just right. But I ordered a 12 and they fit perfectly. I also waxed the canvas to waterproof them and give them that worked in look. They're pretty slick, get yourself a pair.

For such an iconic sneaker, such as the Chuck Taylor low top, you probably have a good idea what to expect. Overall I was very pleased with this product. I have owned several pairs of Chuck Taylor (high and low top) shoes over the course of my life and I am always coming back. If you know your size then the shoe should fit great. My favorite part about the low top shoe is that it really does go with anything. This shoe can be worn for a number of functions as well. I personally wear mine as a casual and comfy shoe that looks good with any outfit. I have seen others wear this shoe in situations ranging from weddings to basketball games and anything in between. It all just depends on what you like. The shoe comes in a huge variety of colors as well so you can always have options. I think one of the biggest selling points of this shoe is the fact that it has a very affordable price. When most shoes cost around $100 the Chuck Taylor All Star costs about $50. The only negative things that I have seen with these shoes are their lifetime and comfort. The shoe is not designed to last forever and after about a solid year of use they begin to deteriorate. In regards to comfort, the shoe does not offer much arch support. If you are looking for a super supportive and padded insole in a shoe then Chuck Taylor's are probably not your best bet. Overall, the Chuck Taylor All Star shoe is one of my favorites. Its classic look and feel as well as the variety of colors and affordable price sets it apart from many others. I would highly recommend this shoe to anyone that wants to look good at an affordable price. In regards to the delivery and service of Amazon, I am still a huge fan. Free two-day shipping always comes on time and I have never had a bad experience with their service.
