    • Timeless sneakers
The thing about Chucks is, they are inexpensive and they are stylish. What they are not however is comfortable. I wouldn't for example wear them for my daily run. But I do wear them for working out in a more stationary capacity, such as strength training. These shoes offer nice grip on most surfaces dry or wet, however they are completely flat; hence the comfort issue. I might even suggest some cushioned soles for arch support. All that said, I will be getting these exact shoes in other colors. Just a note, mine did not come with extra laces as advertised so I *should* by all rights dock them a point for that. On the other hand, the laces for these shoes are the cheapest of the cheap so it's not that big of a deal since I am otherwise completely satisfied. And a final note, as others have recommended: get 1 size smaller than your normal shoe size. I am normally a 12; I got an 11 in these and they fit perfectly. ... show more

I love these shoes so much! Few things I noticed about them: They look a little too new when they first come, but after letting them get roughed up, they look a lot better. Also, as for sizing, they pretty much fit as they should. I would recommend that you go to a store and try on any pair of converse (doesn't have to be high top) to see what size to get. I was skeptical if these were actually Converse, they really are! I was so happy to find a pair cheaper than on the Converse website (free shipping with Prime). I paid up for these because decades after they came out, my teen thinks they’re cool and wanted them for dead lift weightlifting.
