Met my expectations

I always thought I'd like to have a pair of Chuck Taylor Converse shoes and finally bought a pair now that I'm in my 70's. They are cute, even got a compliment from my granddaughter. They are true to size - I wear/bought a 6.5. They are not as comfy as say, a pair of Skechers, but they're ok. I'd like a little more padding and arch support so I gave them a 4 (but they'd get a 5 for cuteness). I probably wouldn't wear them if I'm going to be walking all day, but they are fine for a few hours.

I fell in love with converse all over again. When I was much younger, many years ago, I couldn’t afford to buy these. I have several pairs. This shoe is comfortable. Well made. I have a high instep. I do loosen the laces pretty well and a lil farther down the shoe but once done, I can put them on easily.
