I was a little worried that this would not fit at first. But I was able to get it to fit. Luckily the screws on this unit are rather long, which is perfect for what I need. I put silicone at the bottom to help pad and seal it better together. And then I mounted this unit up by sliding it on. Loosening screws to just about coming off sliding it on the motorcycle wiggling it to the best fit and then tightening it down. So far I think it's a nice little accent piece. And the fact that it'll hold up better on muddy ground or grass is also a plus. I had my motorcycle knocked over once by somebody because it was on softer ground and did some damage to the tail lights. Ever since then it was worth getting a larger flatter bottom. ... show more

2025 MT-09 It goes on loose. Now I have to put some kind of shim to make it tight. Stupid design!!!
