I rarely write Amazon views - but I LOVE this band. Been using it for about a year, including through a 40 hour ultramarathon in the mountains. It's rugged, bomb-proof, and looks great. I love how easy it is to reposition the watch, either tighter or looser depending on the situations. Also great for weightlifting when you need it out of the way for kettlbell work. I thought the metal would be uncomfortable, but it's not--I sleep it in now too to track sleep. Using mine on a Garmin Enduro 2 which is a 51mm size face. This band compliments it so well with the look. The small red (in my case) tag that says "Hemsut" needed to be burned off/removed...it would catch on stuff and just looked dumb. I've also had to start trimming/burning the threads on the end piece as they will catch more and more. And I worry the velcro will degrade, burt if you take the time to clean out the hook part (on the end), it will last longer. I prefer this band to the thin one the Enduro came with just due to how rugged and "tough" this one looks. The color is coming off the metal piece, but that's okay. For the price, this thing is great.

I am a small person. Spouse says I have "bird bones" and getting a band to fit my wrist tightly is very difficult. And it isn't made any easier by the fact that most manufacturers have a terrible understanding of their products or just don't know how to accurately describe them. When you have a logo or other brand marker on the band and it is not able to be part of the fastening system because of said logy / marking, the watch band will not actually fit to the size the manufacturer says it does, it will be long by nearly 2 centimeters - if the description says it will fit a wrist 16-22 cm, anything less than 18 cm will not fit due to the logo on the band. UGH - THAT has been infuriating and I've had to return a few bands due to that issue. THIS BAND, on the other hand, is a true fit. FINALLY. The watch fits my wrist snugly and the watch looks great on it! It is tough looking and feeling and is comfortable wet or dry. I swim and it stays on my wrist tightly, allowing my watch to stay connected and monitor my progress throughout the swim. It is NOT 5/5 (80-100%). It is 10/10 (100%)!

I love how comfortable this band is but the size guide is way off. My wrist is 7.0" and the small didn't even come close to fitting. I got a Medium and it fits exactly right. I don't think the Medium would fit anything smaller than my wrist though. It's a great band but I'd go a size up from their size guide.

Nvm the little nits people have. This is a great watch band. I bought it to replace the itchy silicone band. It installed in a couple of minutes using the pins out of my stock Garmin band. It looks and functions perfectly. Has a military/outdoorsy look, which I like. But it looks clean and well made - no fraying or cheap stitching. And no itchiness whatsoever. π It does not smell. If it smells, itβs because you smell. Sorry, no offense intended. Itβs just fact. If youβre worried, wash it with a little soap and water and then let it dry. If itβs so tight that it pops off when you flex your wrist, donβt wear it so tight. Common sense. Update: several months later it still looks new and works great. No fraying. Has not popped off once.

I like the ease by which the watch band can be changed. The major issue i have is I find that the watch band can detach itself at any time for any reason(pull a tight sleeve over it, the way you bend your wrist, etc. Is there a way for the company to make an attachment to the watch pin to better secure its attachment? This band appears to be made from high quality materials, and the workmanship is superb. The band itself is comfortable and looks AWESOME. I see in other reviews here that folks have lost their watches... Either... βΊ They're snagging the band on something, causing the Velcro to release. If this is the case, then this band wasn't a good choice from the start. As a specific example, I would not use *any* Velcro band - let alone *this* band - for scuba diving; *everything* I've ever attached with Velcro on a dive has disappeared to the bottom of the Atlantic, the Gulf of Mexico, or Table Rock Lake. This is a lesson hard-learned. OR βΊ The QuickFit mechanism is failing, which doesn't seem likely given how solid these components appear to be. I'm very, very hard my watches; if I lose my Fenix, I'll be sure to circle back to here with an update. In any case, at least so far, I would highly recommend this band.

Buyer should be aware that this item comes without the pins needed to install it. Looking on AMZN the best deal I could find was a set of 4 pins for $5.99 bringing the total for the strap to $31.98. TBH the strap looks nice and the attachment system seems high quality but that is just too much $$ for a nylon and velcro strap. I wish it had been clear from the listing that a separate purchase of pins was required. I sent an eMail to Hemsut asking about this and their response was immediate and informative. Thus the 3 stars.
