Bought this for a 9-year-old boy who’s about 4’8” and the fit ended up being really good. Quality is simple but great for this price. Columbia always provides decent quality when it comes to the kids raincoats. The price is right considering they only fit into these for 1-2 years. I will continue to purchase this brand as the kids grow.

Great rain jacket. It is definitely a shell. It will not provide warmth if that’s what you’re looking for. It will keep your kiddo dry though. I originally ordered a size up so my kiddo could use it next year too, but they seem to run a bit small so they ended up fitting just right. I ended up returning and ordering 2 sizes up. I would say they run a full size smaller than what the tag says. Quality overall is great. Seams and zippers are sturdy. Overall appearance is great. My toddler tall and sturdy built toddler normally wears a 2t. He’s wearing a size 4t in this photo, which is the perfect size if you plan to layer a thick sweater under it.
