The hunt is over for me. I have tried almost every style Columbia makes in pants, Capris & long shorts. The waist is always an issue snug and on the low side. The waist is between mid rise and high with elastic in the back. I bought the 4 regular. Inseam is 31. I’m 5’4” and weigh about 114lb. I’m built round like a pole & not much waist or hips. I might have to hem them an inch. I wear 31 inseam in jeans but I also wear boots with my jeans. I will get lots of use out of them. I live in Hawaii. I’m usually a jeans girl but needed a pair of pants for a special occasion. I’m already thinking of getting other colors. I sure wish they had long shorts that fit like these. I don’t think these would be good riding horse at least western or bareback. I’ll stick to jeans but I can do everything else in these. There so comfortable you could run in them. Later on I’ll try to add a photo there in the wash again. Oh and they wash up so nice. I just hang them to dry. ... show more

I think Columbia makes great women’s clothing. I especially like garments made from Nylon fabric with a bit of stretch. I own numerous pants and shirts made by Columbia but this pair of pants were returned. The waist fit was okay but the pant legs, especially calf area, was too tight and clingy. I ordered sz 18. They have an elastic back waistband which I love. They have a zipper pocket on the right leg for my iPhone 13, fits perfectly. No back pockets, which is a bummer. They are so light weight and comfortable. I think I might buy a few more pairs, so cute.
