I got this for a company barbecue. I wanted something lightweight but more conservative. Also, it has pockets. I wish the drawstring ties were in the front because it's difficult to tie in a bow behind my back. The armholes are tiny, so my bra won't show, but if you have big arms then you might not fit into this garment. The fit is weird. My measurements are 40-32-40 and the medium looked like I was wearing a paper sack. The small looks OK. If you're a less busty person, I think it would look better on you, but if you're a size 2, I think you would be swimming in this dress. Even though I'm a touch curvy (5'2'' 115-20ish), I'm usually an XS or S in Columbia--more to the XS end in dresses. The XS was so large, I could have almost fit two of me in it. There's a drawstring to cinch the waist in the back; tightening that to make it "fit" made it look like a bustled wedding dress. This is a great dress for walking in hot weather for those of us who prefer dresses to pants and shorts. I'm 5'5" and the length hits right at the knee, so it works well for older women. However, the fit is strange. It's roomy in the hips, very large in the bust yet tight across the upper back. Also, the sleeve opening is small and cut high at the armpit making for an uncomfortable fit when sweating. As others have noted, it's a cute style but the sleeves/arm holes are so veeeeeeeeery big you can see a lot of skin and full view of most of bra. The proportions appear to be very unusual. The fabric is high quality, that's the best part of this dress. I am returning it for reasons stated.

Didn't end up keeping, as it had an odd fit for me. It was too baggy, even after pulling the waist ties to cinch in. I have a bigger chest and it had plenty of room there. It jist looked frumpy on me since the waist ties still didn't give me any shape.
