These shoes are very comfortable, although I realize I should’ve gotten a smaller size. They hold up well to water and walking long periods and keep your feet warm. I bought these for my trip to Alaska and I loved them! It definitely doesn't keep your feet warm if you're out for more than a couple hours in -20 C snow, and definitely need warm socks, but it kept it warm and dry for long enough. I did hike in them for like 5 hours in very deep snow and they got soaked inside and out, but that was expected. I liked the look of them too, and despite being a bit big for my size, it allowed me to wear extra socks and it's not like I needed to run in them or anything. ... show more

This is my first pair of Columbia boots and I am impressed. Very nice. Heavy and durable, I was afraid they would not be so nice-looking in person, but they definitely are. I got the Cinder/Crabtree color and they are actually beautiful. I read some reviews that they might run small, but mine (size 7) felt a bit loose. A pair if thick socks will fix that fine.
